Abigail is a girl who made a difference in society by being a PACER. Each book represents one of the letters of the word PACER and the attributed characteristic and discusses a specific value that I invite children to acquire, in addition to a day-to-day situation they live. Through these books, children will learn how to deal with different situations.
So Abigail, the main character, showed Perseverance (Book 1) by persisting in her efforts until the dog and his owner felt comfortable and welcome in the new community they moved to and gained many friends;
She showed Agility (Book 2) by being ready for change, able to preview others’ actions and make quick and successful decisions;
She showed Clarity (Book 3) by resolving her conflicts with her friends through talking openly and honestly;
She showed Empathy (Book 4) by recognizing that Joseph was having difficulties and by taking action to help him with these difficulties;
She showed Respect (Book 5) by acknowledging and accepting key strength in each of her friends.
Abigail invites each child to join her and become a PACER.

I play soccer with the school team. The nice thing about my team is that we welcome
kids to play with us from the neighborhood. Those kids become our friends. We share the
same soccer ball together and the same outfit and our group of friends becomes bigger. I don’t know about you, but I love to have lots of friends! Do you have friends?

Getting close to the final game of the season, Coach Roger asked us to join him on the
soccer field one day before the match.
He ordered pizza to the field, and he placed blankets on the grass where we sat and had
dinner. Then he said: “I am sure you are wondering why we are dining together on our field. Usually, people dine together as a family and as friends at home.
Tomorrow, as you play, I want you to remember that this is your home. You should be proud of what you have accomplished, regardless of the results. Play for you, for your friends and family, have fun but defend your home.
I am proud of you, and here is your award!”

Heart of a mother & a letter to a child!

“As far as I can remember, I worked long hours, my passion for production, change, and the development of any job made me a “holic”; It hasn’t been easy, and with time it became a need, security, and more importantly, a fear for a secured tomorrow.
I raised two daughters, telling them, before you consider marriage, you have to focus on education, higher degrees, secure a personal income, establish a good position, live alone for one year abroad while being in charge of your end of monthly dues, to understand what it takes, then enjoy your marriage. In parallel, I always said, don’t forget your heart and needs along the way, you can always nurture a broken heart, but you cannot live without a heart, so go ahead, take it up, drop it down, break it, mend it, fix it, but mainly, use it, because the heart is the sign of life.
Today, when I look at my daughters struggling and doing the same, my heart aches,
I worry about them because I know how it feels, but when I close my eyes and imagine them 10 years from this day, I know they will be in great and better shape because of a mistake I made when I was their age, and that was not continuing my higher education.
To those mothers that succeeded in this world because of their hard work and strong will, I cheer for you… To every working and non-working mother, I cheer for you, and to every child, Cheer for your mother, happy or not, because she did things her way, knowing this was the best for you!”

He is not just a dog… he was bullied!

“HE is not just a dog… it is Amber, Omar’s dog, the new kid on the bloc, that was bullied!
Is your child bullied? is he the bully? or is he the bystander?
Well, no matter where he or she stands, all three are in pain and need help.
Bullies, have a major problems, they are insensitive, and get their anger upon other people…
Victims, are intimidated, living in fear, and feel overpowered by those who are bigger in size, or outspoken…
As for bystanders, they need to learn to take action in this world, and make a difference in their community…
Bullying, the disease taking over schools, to reach every home, and even jobs must be dealt with, with a know how, and practice to stand for self and others!
I invite you, parents, and friends, to read MOMMY, I AM A PACER! and join Abigail the main character, the PACER in my book, with her endeavor to change the world!
One cannot make a change alone, but together we can make our world a better place!”
