cherish the unity, invest in relationships, love, love and passion

“What does it take to please a woman?
Well, I tell, out of the experience, it is easier than one could think!
Age is important, and relevant to the need, but we all want the same thing.
Probably, there is a priority, acts that come one after the other, but basically, it’s always the same package.

A man approached me via Facebook messenger. Usually, when I receive a friend request, I check how long he has been on social media, his posts, whether he has extreme affiliations and statuses, I try to understand his character from his posts, whether he ever posted real photos or has a famous person as his own photo, I try to see whether he has men among his friends or whether he is collecting women, I check the comments on his posts and common friends, and if he passes, I accept the friendship request with my policy of innocent until proven guilty and reservation in communication!
I usually do not extend to phone communication but after few attempts, having common friends, I decided to speak to him.
Hello, Hello… Of course, he was married, with the version of living under the same roof, different rooms, still together for the sake of the children.
I am not yet giving you my opinion on that, I am simply reporting facts.
When I knew and directly guessed he was married, I pulled back; of course, he was complimenting me for being a strong woman, beautiful, and how much he admires my posts… to me, the conversation ended when I guessed he was married.
He tried to push the conversation talking about me, so I told him, you appreciate strong woman, does that mean you are going to answer and accept my words, his answer was yes! so I started, you know, I wish you invest the time while talking to me on your wife, instead of wasting it on a stranger! Marriage is a business investment in the family you dreamed about, and as you have expectations from your wife, she does too. He answered offensively, I come home tired, with a lot on my mind, bla bla, and she is not there to… I said to what? he wanted to take the conversation in the intimate direction thinking he would intimidate me, so I asked when was the last time you offered your wife a flower, he answered I always do on Mother’s Day, because the woman is first and last a mother, I treat her as I treat my mother; I stopped him, I said you have an intimate relationship with your wife, your respect her motherhood, but you have to treat her as a woman… He cut the conversation, made the mistake of admitting the flower was one of the fights they argued about, and then when I told him that many times the couple forget they are husband and wife, and they need to work on each other to keep the sparkle of passion alive, he claimed he received a visitor and hung up!

To say no more, relationships are an investment, and it is up to the couple to make them succeed. I am not saying there are no blocked endings, I am saying if one wants to invest in love, the partner has the priority!
This topic is a long debate, that comes in different versions, but this was one out of many!”
#MOI when it comes to love, invest in passion!

His first collection of his poems Fragments of my Broken Voice is his recent publication

· Book Synopsis: In the context of poverty, particularly, when you live among people who lack basic needs, your voice is broken. It is broken because of crying day in and day out. However, in those crying intervals, there are also intervals of laughter and jokes. The famished people have time for love. They bear children who bring joy among them. That is the irony of life. I find myself in that context. The symbols of land, flames, nothingness and humanity run across this collection, reflecting the richness, the vagueness and the variety of life. The life of those lost in poverty yet struggling to survive and live.

In my attempt to find a voice, I have discovered that my voice is broken. And any attempts to gather the fragments together have proven to be futile. This is, therefore, a collection of my cries… Broken. That is why it is titled Fragments of my Broken Voice. The poems have been divided into five thematic chapters: cries of anguish, mating cries, cries of laughter, celestial cries and cries of sorrows. Come, join me in crying for we are a people who are born crying and are escorted to the grave with cries. Crying is our living. Crying is our survival.

Ndondolera’s message to the reader
The poems in this book represent a voice from a poor country in Africa (Malawi). As the poor struggle to survive, they cry in anger, they cry in their mourning. But they also cry in joy and love. There is love in their pains. Enjoy reading and reflecting on cries from Malawi. Buy it on https://www.amazon.com/Fragments-my-Broken-Voice-Poems-ebook/dp/B08QM5KXC8/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_pl_foot_top?ie=UTF8

Thank you Ndongolera C. Mwangupili for the giving me the opportunity of introducing you, it was an honor!

alone but not lonely, blogger about life, book that changed my life, life during COVID-19

“Badiaa, what’s on your mind? as Facebook says.
Let me whisper the truth, and confidentially. Yesterday morning, I woke up wanting to spend the day in bed, under loads of heavy covers pinning me down… No it wasn’t the cozy mood, it was rather the I am tired and disgusted mood.
Did you ever feel the same?
I felt really anxious, empty, and not oriented. My friends were expecting me to get up and cheer them up, they expected me to boost their day as I usually do, but truth be said, I had to take a day off.
A while after, I got myself together, to the kitchen actually where I fixed myself an omelet, I had my coffee, and sat by the window, on a chair, in the corner, talking… to myself!
Dear #MOI, thank you for understanding me today, thank you for listening to me during my low-end days, and thank you for understanding my solitude!
& suddenly, life flashed back, to the days where I was surrounded by a crowd but alone on the inside, the days I promised myself that I might be alone but will never be lonely, & suddenly, again, I gained my energy remembering, I am alone by choice, situational because of COVID-19, but deep in my heart I am not lonely!”
#MOI Did you ever feel the same? #Cheerup, You are not alone!

The working, mom

blogger, Book, mothers, working mom, working woman

“The working, mom…
Good morning Mommies, what a great feeling!
Today is my youngest birthday, she is turning 26! No longer young I guess, but I feel selfish thinking about myself on this day, what can I say!

To begin with, let me tell you, according to many around me, they all say I have done a great job raising my daughters, they turned out…
I am simply not mentioning how they turned out, although I am very proud of their achievements, both, today, I like to discuss, #MOI, the working mom.

Seriously, being a woman, a mom, a working mom, is not easy!
& please note that I have super, great respect for the 24-hours non-working moms, I believe they are on non-break, no-relief time, they are on an ongoing mission.

To me, work was not negotiable, whether I needed it for financial security or not, I loved working, I loved the early wake up to go to work, I loved the stressful day, and since I can remember, I used to work, as a workaholic!
As well, having a family and being a mom has always been a priority and a dream that I would never let go of.
So, my life, my life on the go, my life during the ups and downs of marriage, my life at work, and my life as a mom… they rolled like a roller coaster with no regret to any.
A marriage that gave me two daughters…
A marriage that ended up with a divorce…
A career where I succeeded, a career that I have developed, a true pride to me, but was not the favor of my marriage partner… Was it among the leads to the divorce, probably, but when I evaluated the situation, especially that it was not one of the elements I would jeopardize, I had to keep it as one of the basic entities towards my future.

As a working woman, I learned to that I needed to stand in a skirt but feel that I am wearing a suit, I learned not to fear the suits around me, and not allow them to intimidate me, I learned to stand my grounds… but wait, isn’t this what a woman should do at home, with her husband, and as a mom… probably not all I said applies to you all, but many men try to intimidate women at home and at the work field, many try to say the first and last word, and many try to overpower women simply for the purpose of gender inequality, and, while this, to me, shows great inferiority!
As a woman, I love strong women, I love when a woman shows sparkling spirit in the society, I love when a woman shows strength and confidence, to me it means she is well supported emotionally, she is seen with a bold eye, respected, and loved.
As a mom, whether working or not, the respect to this person is immense. No words can ever describe this person’s life. It is not about a line of duty, it is rather about what this person thinks starting when bearing their child, the fear she has to outcome during sickness, child’s emotional malaise, during growing phases, love and unhappy phases, and during every day I guess, I tell you, talking about the load of men in uniform, this person is wearing a uniform called motherhood!

So, connecting those together to reach the working woman, and dissociating them to the initial starting point, the woman, I salute you every step of the way, I salute the giving spirit, I salute the fighting spirit you have in the work field and as a mom, the spirit you raise in the children, the leaders of tomorrow, I salute your smile despite the worry, and the ongoing strength despite what is happening inside your life, and mainly…. hear this, hear me clearly, I SALUTE THE MAN THAT DARES TO STAND BY YOU, BE THE POWER BEHIND YOU, AND SHADOW YOU!

#MOI Cheers to you all!

Publicó el libro Interrogantes, el libro La página del buffet; una publicación literaria diferente, el libro Diálogos internos y el libro El juego de los errores.

Book Synopsis:

El juego de los errores is the fourth book published by this author and it brings together the first stories, the first stories, that he has written since 1987 and they are not related to each other since each text is independent of the other. What are they about? They are narratives that are born from life experiences, where the author moves away from poetry, uses aspects of reality typical of journalism to arrive at the narrative and fictionalizes in a plot that belongs to a possible world. Says the author “I took the title of one of the stories, to represent the book. It is a rare title, meaning it is not found in other books often.

The new book by the Latin American writer Antonio Rolando Arenas is already on Barnes & Noble “El juego de los errores” with its main narrative successes “Un error en Borges”, “No creas en Natalia”, “Un periodista sin trabajo” in which narrates the vicissitudes of the newspaper HOY, “Otra vez sangre”, “El diario de una villa” with which he won the Ana María Agüero Melnyczuk Prize for Research – 2014, and that merit made him realize this book.
Also in: Apple Books, Rakuten Kobo, Scribd, bol, Mondadori Stores and Smashwords.

What would you like to say to the readers, a word from the heart.

I am very excited about the result of this book because I have managed to enter the different online bookstores that promote my book through Google. I have access to different interviews in which I can express my feelings, my intentions and my experience as a prominent author with a career that goes beyond the city where I live. I am reaching readers from other countries and I find satisfaction in projecting myself with my book written in Spanish.
I know that there are readers who expect my literature in English, so I share here the narrative “ON THE STEP”.

#Identity, COVID-19, frontline health workers, Heart aching, hug, life, patient, smile, today

“Good morning today
Good morning whichever day
Are you ready to end the week, or
Are you ready to start the weekend?
The days correlate one after the other
The news duplicate from one country to the other
Number of people infected with the virus, to
Number of people we lost to the virus, to
Number of people suffering from the virus, to
Number of people who survived the virus…
Are we becoming a number,
Do we still have an identity?

My heart is aching
Aching for a paused life
A life we learned to value
A company we learned to cherish
A hug, a kiss, a hand to hold

My heart is aching
Missing getting dressed to work in an office
Missing putting lipstick and not smudging it under the mask
Missing shaking guests’ hands
Missing… your smile

My heart is aching
Aching for those exiting this world alone
Aching for those isolated with the virus alone
Aching for those no one can near
Without protective clothing, masks, gloves, and shield
My heart is aching, for you my dear”

My heart is aching
Aching for the frontline health workers
Aching for YOU, those transporting the VIRUS
Aching for YOU, those caring for the VIRUS
Aching for YOU, those treating the VIRUS
The VIRUS, my heart stands by you dear patient
You might be lonely, and physically alone, but hope you hear
WE STAND BY YOU, KEEP HOPE FLOATING, FIGHT, FIGHT FIGHT
As for YOU frontline health workers, YOU ARE MY HEROES!
God bless you all and your loved ones!
Keep safe, Keep distance, Keep sane!

Ezinne in “On the 28th” is an undergraduate, studying to become a microbiologist. She derails when the three high class ladies in her department, befriend her, and introduce her to a billionaire. She finds herself lost in his seduction, and doesn’t realize the trap he has set, until he deflowers her, and becomes incommunicado. The fact that she could be pregnant, brings her to her knees. It’s a long road to placing her feet back on the ground, as she painfully waits for her period to show its face again.

“Yellow Pawpaw” walks us through the life of Nkem, a depressed spinster, who decides to bleach her skin, in order to gain attention from the opposite sex, in her bid to find a husband. Her new endeavour leaves her almost penniless, with her business failing, and her skin getting damaged due to the harsh chemicals she uses, even as her plan to be married doesn’t seem successful. A neighbor comes to her aid, to help her rediscover and love herself again.

“My Doppelganger” features two female characters: Amaka, a Nigerian girl, and Debbie, an Amercan, as they wade through 14 years of friendship, to overcome societal and racial differences, to become bbf’s; and work together to achieve their dream of becoming lawyers, and owning their free legal advice clinic.

“Ada” is the story of Ada, the first female child of the Obi’s, as she lives up to her responsibilities, shouldering and taking care of her parents and siblings. She is rewarded with a good marriage, and a husband, willing to reward her for all the sacrifices she has made.

Word from the heart to the reader:

Feminine Shades is a collection of seven short stories central to the female gender, depicting the inward strength and courage of the female protagonists.

Each story has a message both for the male and female gender. It’s time for the silent voices of the women folk to be heard. It’s time for the men in our lives to really “SEE” what we endure on a daily basis. It’s time for a woman to be respected, supported, and loved. It’s time for a change!

Today is not about #MOI or my books; Today is about a rising author!

Being an internationally published author, an active blogger and a social media advocate. My followers are real, and I believe in working together via different means to provide and see change taking place with fellow authors.
During the confinement, I launched my I channel on YouTube, where I conducted live interviews with over 60 guests to entertain my audience but mainly to promote online businesses and raise continuous awareness about different topics; & here is where the idea of promoting authors came from.
Therefore I invited authors to join me, with simple interviews to introduce them to the world, and help them get their voice heard, in the hoping that one of the clicks will be the magic button to their success!

Join me to congratulate M.A Amru for his book, don’t forget to like the post and write your review if you have a chance to read their book

TODAY’S AUTHOR
Author’s full name & Pen Name if available:
M.A Amru
International Standard Book Number – ISBN:   9798588055444
Book title: First Under Heaven

Publishing date & Publisher: Self-published, publishing this year, currently in Kickstarter mode!

About the Author:
A bit about myself: Born in Singapore, I started to be interested in writing when I first got hold of books during Primary school, and from there on, I have many creative ideas that I wanted to pen down and let others read because I really want my work to inspire people to have their own creative ideas and perhaps even write interesting books. When I write, I want to tell a story, and also I do want more people to delve into books because I feel that books are really something that we can enjoy and take us away from this world and into another. Science fiction is one way to do so.

Book Synopsis:
Humanity has reached the stars without our own acknowledgement. Centuries of humanity in the coast of the stars paved for civilization greater than ours. Now amidst the Second World War, these humans have returned once more to reclaim their glory. But humanity would not surrender — Resistance is established by a group known as the Mensheviks. They are working to protect humanity from destruction, even from within…

What would you like to say to the readers, a word from the heart:
When you are writing, you must take into consideration that you are writing for yourself, for your own happiness and not for the sake of others. I believe in artistic independence and integrity. Throughout the centuries, the man that has taken the step forward to innovative equipped nothing but his own vision. The great creators of our time – the thinkers, the artists, the scientists, the inventors, they all stood alone against the men of their time, society, their communities. Every great new thought and new invention was opposed. His truth was his only motive. His own truth, and his own work to achieve it in his own way. I am the Howard Roark of Literature and I standby the thought of man’s pursuit for what he wants to achieve, wanting men, in my case me to write what I want to write and to produce that work that I feel is right not to serve anyone else or society but to allow human progress. The reason why I write this novel is that I wanted to express myself and the changing world that is occurring around me, each episode that I live through and the experiences that I have seen boils to formulate this story as a philosophical debate but set in a fictional realm that is different to ours. A writer must refuse to compromise with many publishing houses that are unwilling to accept innovation and in that he finds himself alone just like I do when I feel that is right and not based on what others want of me. It is in a way to encourage others to write to their hearts and produce solid work that would be the pinnacle representation of human endeavours.
