There is always a door…

“There is always a door, it’s always closed, initially, as it is meant to separate things, indoor from outdoor basically, contain a location as a limit or distance… but metaphorically it separates us today from us tomorrow!

That is the real door!

If you think about it, many fear touching the handle, many feel safe in their comfort zone that they reject the idea of leaving the cocoon and become a butterfly, many wonder what is on the other side while enjoying living the imaginative part, but only few challenge themselves to manage their way away, around, or through the door and embark on new soil, water, and air to test life from different perspectives.

Do you ever wonder what’s on the other side of that handle if you turn it? Well, it’s life, continuity, experience, more people crossing our paths, just another stop in our life!

My advice, no fear, cease every moment to learn something new, analyze occasionally, but conquer wholeheartedly!

Cheers to every sunset, as it is sunrise elsewhere!”

While sleeping…

“While sleeping…
I woke up this morning, I head to the bathroom to wash my face, I stood in front of the mirror, and here was the shock, there was something under my chin!
Oh my, oh my, what is this, I tried to rub it off, pull it back, pull it off… it was still there!
I stepped out, went to check on my daughter in her bed, she was no longer the tiny young daughter, I saw a fully developed young lady, on her way to independence, while the other one has no longer been in her room since a while, she has been fully independent, living alone, working for quite some time!
Well, I don’t know what happened, but yesterday I spent my day observing colleagues at work, hearing their stories, listening to their words carefully, but thinking about the unsaid, I saw more wrinkles, I saw white hair, I saw laughter, and concerns, I heard life!
The evening passed, I was thinking passively about life, but emotionally.
Did it ever happen to you? I guess when changes happen physically, empathy takes over with me, and I guess I live the changes with them from my own home, I guess that explains why I woke up this morning screaming and crying the dream of house change!
Well, I went back to my mirror, I guess while sleeping, time happened, and the good thing about it, we grow wrinkles, white hair, double chins, physical and emotional changes, but at least we are blessed with what we call life, to witness all changes!
God bless us all with a healthy and happy long life, let us all enjoy this gift!”

“Kids … they just break my heart!

If you think you life as adult is tough, try to be in a child’s shoes, living the puberty changes, some they can control and others no, the beard, the voice, the belly, the hair, the period, the height, weight, the looks, height, weight… try facing the bully, the my friend or no friends, the pain, the tears…

I MEAN TRY REMEMBERING!

Were you ever bullied, were you ever the bully, or were you the bystander?

Each breaks my heart, the victim for understanding that being bullied is not their fault, they just happened to be at the place the wrong time; the bully for energizing on the pain they cause others, and being able to continue their life despite that; & last, the bystander who feels they have the right to watch silently, turning the blind eye on, and sealing their ears from hearing others’ pain snd scream for help!”

#MOI I sometimes wonder which one of the three will end up an emotional timed bomb in their community?!

I invite you to read MOMMY, I AM A PACER! alone first then with your child. Remember how you once felt, how your child feels now, and then pass them the 5 short stories, let them express their feelings following Abigail’s footsteps in being change agents in their community, and ambassadors of peace for the next generations!

Let us Invest in Love…

‘Let us Invest in Love!
Let us discuss love openly, let us not be shy, let us not hide from reality…
You love her, tell her
You love her, show her
You love her, make her feel special
You love her, kiss her
You love her, let her feel it
You love her, hug her, say it with actions, fix her favorite coffee, attend her favorite romantic movie, surprise her with a flower
Do it for her…
& remind her of the first day you met, why you loved her, the first kiss, and the first bite of the apple!

Invest in love, invest in your relation, invest in your home…
Make every day feel like the first day…
As for us women, life is a two way street, we need to ensure the was back, we hold the magic wand, we hold the key to success, the right word at the right time… I know there are times where the street is a one way only, but let us try to dig a hole, big enough to invest in love before we bury life itself!”
#MOI I invite to read Chapter 7 in Where is My Angel?

Where is My Angel?

Once upon a time, a child was born. Between the different events, that child learned that the end in sight is more important than the beginning. My story is not unique, maybe the sequence happening to one person is. I am every woman, every story behind closed doors, every marriage, and every company. This is the story of a woman born in Lebanon with an international view on life. After losing her mother at birth, being exiled to the States and experiencing family leaving her life, Badiaa developed an inner strength that has allowed her to cope with events that would have broken someone less strong.

Take Badiaa’s journey with her and discover truths about yourself and inspiration to take through your own life.

Radio One going off air

“After 37 years on air, Radio One is going off air!

The community in Lebanon is devastated, Tough & Sad… but makes me wonder whether the full blame is the economic situation or are we facing a radical change blamed, in favor, and/or thanks to technology?!
The technological change started being more visible and taking over the newer generation:

Schools: less books and copybooks

More typing and who cares about handwriting

News: at a fingertip

#teaching #learning teachers soon to become facilitators

fun: tablets are absorbing children’s minds

& the list of changes is endless!
I truly fear one day #nutrition, #medicine, and #relationships would become #virtual…!”
