During the confinement, I launched my I channel on YouTube, I conducted live interviews with over 60 guests to entertain my audience, to highlight online businesses and careers, and mainly to raise continuous awareness about different topics, all sessions are uploaded on my I Channel, News, & Broadcasts; & here is where the idea of promoting authors came from.

Therefore, I invited authors to join me, with simple interviews to introduce them to the world, and help them get their voice heard, in the hope that one of the clicks will be the magic button to their success!

Join me to congratulate Atri Kundu for his book titled Then There Was Rain, don’t forget to like the post and write your review if you have a chance to read the book that was published on March 6, 2021 and is available via Amazon.

Book Title: Then There Was Rain

ASIN: B08Y7V47ZK
Book Genre: Drama/Contemporary Romance

About the author: Atri Kundu hails from a suburban locale in India and writes short fiction, nonfiction articles, poetry, and essays. Currently employed as a Content Manager in a content marketing agency, Atri has received his undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Atri was a regular contributor to his college’s literary magazines and a number of local magazines published in Bengali. As a former member of the Press Club of Kolkata, he has traveled widely to cover news stories and documentary matters and these experiences have enriched his mind as an author and an individual.
Atri is a survivor of the demon called depression and is intimately familiar with this battle for survival. He believes that stories like his are not taboo but deserve to be told and heard. His life and the way he contemplates the lives around him serve the real sources to his works, which are already a sensation on Instagram. Currently, he is busy crafting his debut romance novel, HORIZON — an enthralling journey of two lost souls, set out to scale the Himalayas.

Synopsis: Kiyoshi Higa had grown to disbelieve the notions of love and happily-ever-afters. He never saw these working out in the end, not for him at least. But when his quest to seek a place to belong to drove him south, from the idyllic Okinawa to the City of Joy, he caught a glimpse of the home he never had in Agnimitra Sen a.k.a. Agni.

Agni was a steady flame and Kiyoshi embodied a turbulent ocean. She was the woman he could never end up with, and he was the scarred man no one would fall in love with. Yet, his eyes chased the cloud-shaped bird…what if…despite knowing how hope is the killer of reality, he loved and he hoped.
From Kolkata to cherry blossoms, from Okinawa to phuchka, from Rabindrasangeet to haiku – this is the story of a soul stranded at the crossroad of love and guilt – one step down the wrong path, and he will lose all that he held dear.
Perfect for the fans of Nicholas Sparks and John Green, Then There Was Rain is at once a metaphorical ode to life, a journey of survival through hope, and a novella with the heartful expanse of an epic.

A word from the author: Bad things in life outnumber the good ones. MOSTLY. Sometimes it is very pronounced, like a death or a divorce. Sometimes a lot more subtle, like a dead relationship or a slumped career. But it is so that when the good things do happen, they outweigh the bad ones. MOSTLY. Like a calm family dinner. A night under the stars with the person you love. Or the book you write inspired by your life.

Kiyoshi, his parents, Agni, Rito, and everyone else – they have lived and breathed on this very same Earth. Perhaps they still do.
And that’s what Then There Was Rain is – a portion of my life and my soul laid out in fictionalized details for you to feel and call your own.

“Life and Death… They ask, is there life after death? I ask, did you live before death?
The word life is very obscure, it means a lot and means nothing, it reflects on a lot and yet, shy away from more…
Are you living or alive? is there a difference? well, to me there is!
There is a difference between going through life one day after the other, and aspiring for a new day…
There is a difference between living life and living it passionately…
There is a difference between living despite the odds, subduing everyday routine, and going with the flow of life…
There is a difference between being alive and…
There is a difference, if you cannot see it, it is not life…”

“Life is full of beautiful and sad moments;
It has people we cherish, some we enjoy their companies, & others we call acquaintances;
It has different seasons, fruits, colors, languages & etc….
What else… it has many holidays;
I would like to take a moment and remember the importance of this time of year:
There is always Resurrection! There is always Resurrection!
There is always Resurrection, after every tear we shed and love ones we lose!
There is always a Miracle! Life by itself!
There is always Hope… Generated by Faith!

In the world we live in, Faith is the Miracle;
Never give up, Keep Faith in your heart!”

The day after… fear and anxiety!

“The day after… fear and anxiety!
Although we are eager for this day to come, and we wait for it impatiently, there is this phase called fear that makes many not cross it and hold back. It is as if we are holding the knob of the door but not turning it, or turning the knob of the door and not opening it, it might look simple, but by doing so, it means I am taking charge of the day after.

Let me clarify more… when one decides on change, there is always this doubtful phase, the dilemma of did I make the right decision, the struggle between falling back or falling forward, the battle between self and community over what we hear…
This fear is not related to the past, it is rather about the day after; the anxiety we live is not related to the comfort of yesterday, because if yesterday was the comfort zone, why am I living the fear and anxiety of the day after; this fear is related to tomorrow, to the unknown, uncertain, and unseen.

It is only normal to feel so, but let me tell you, for you to have the courage to think about change, and actually take the first step towards the day after, this means you will make tomorrow happen; with few glitches here and there, no path is ever perfect, walk towards the day after, you will never know how strong you are, you will never know what you want until you put your hand on that knob, turn it, and open the door, but make sure you close it tightly behind you.
#MOI Few glitches, few clouds, fear, and uncertainty, but faith, inner-strength and good-will!
