About the book MOMMY, I AM A PACER and the main character in the five short stories. She believed she could change the world with communication, love, & kindness; through perseverance, she did make a difference in her community. She helped Amber, Omar’s dog, fit in his new community; both, Amber and Omar, represented the new kids on the block. She showed agility; she was there for the team and proved the importance of teamwork. She understood that any conflict must be addressed openly; she followed the guidance of her grandfather to solve the differences with her friends. She had empathy and saw those left behind, and more importantly, she connected with them to include them in all activities. She knew that everyone was unique and had their strength; given time, and respect, they shall prove themselves. That was the main character in the five short stories. Inspired by my experience with children as coordinator of Peace Education and the Middle School Director, I needed her daily; I tried to push the students to see how they can change the world with communication, love, and kindness. Her name was Abigail; what is yours?”

“Did you ever watch a child follow a bubble? Did you ever watch a child giggling and running? Did you ever watch a child playing?
The right to childhood cannot be interrupted by abuse, concern, & painful events. This will simply lead to scars and painful memories. Raise a child to see justice… Raise a child not to fear speaking up for self and others… Raise a child to love self… Raise a child to love others… Raise a child to accept everyone… Raise a child and give them the right to childhood…”
#MOI Raise a child and remember they are children!

“HE is not just a dog… it is Amber, Omar’s dog, the new kid on the bloc, that was bullied!
Is your child bullied? is he the bully? or is he the bystander?
Well, no matter where he or she stands, all three are in pain and need help.
Bullies, have a major problems, they are insensitive, and get their anger upon other people…
Victims, are intimidated, living in fear, and feel overpowered by those who are bigger in size, or outspoken…
As for bystanders, they need to learn to take action in this world, and make a difference in their community…
Bullying, the disease taking over schools, to reach every home, and even jobs must be dealt with, with a know how, and practice to stand for self and others!
I invite you, parents, and friends, to read MOMMY, I AM A PACER! and join Abigail the main character, the PACER in my book, with her endeavor to change the world!
One cannot make a change alone, but together we can make our world a better place!”
