“International me! I celebrate #MOI every day…
Yesterday was April 29, International Dance Day, which is the anniversary of the birth of Jean-Georges Noverre (1727–1810), the creator of modern ballet.
Today is April 30, International Jazz Day, according to the UN calendar of Holidays. It is meant to celebrate the historical, cultural, and educational contributions of this popular genre of music. The day aims to spread international awareness about this unique musical style and to promote the cultural, and social values that Jazz stands for.

Every day is a day to celebrate something special, a memory, an event, someone in history. I like to celebrate those days, first, they highlight people that changed the world; other times, the celebration is a reminder of cruelty, to stand by our ancestors, pray for the lost souls, in genocides and war, and a reminder so we all contribute to make the world a safer place; and at times it is to celebrate events like yesterday and today, Art, Music, & Dance, and their importance to individuals as therapy, as communication, as messages, and as happiness.

Reaching the purpose of this message, every day we live is a special day because it’s about me. I make it special, to me, and those around me.
Remember to celebrate yourself, to show those around you how you value yourself. There will be only one of you, and that person deserves to be noticed!”

Dear Lord… ending the week with a prayer

blogger about faith, Dear Lord, faith, I believe

“Dear Lord…
I know you are there
I know you hear me

Day after day, I understand life more.
There were times when I questioned events in my life, then I realized you do not cause them instead you shadowed me to overpass the difficulties.
They were tough events, you know… I cried, I wondered why me, I asked you why me again, & then I wondered where my strength came from to face the facts and move over.
The strength you gave me made me look at the realities in the eye and say, No, I am not afraid, No, you will not hold me back, & No, you will not waste my time on you!

I learned to cry enough but not long,
I learned to feel sad enough but not long,
I learned to isolate enough but not long,
& mainly, I learned to stand again, strong, tall, and conquer the new day with a big heart.

Dear Lord,
It is tough to trust the unseen,
but no one can question your presence in my life, soul, and heart…
Thank you!”

Are they called mistakes or life-turning events?

blogger about life, books and reality, small-town girl

“Are they called mistakes or life-turning events?
If I am not talking about myself in my biography “WHERE IS MY ANGEL?“, I will be talking about Alexandra in
LIFE’S DETOURS, ALEXANDRA’S CHOICES.

I was a flying soul and all flying souls wander. I never rested, until I was chained to my daughters, but once they became independent, nothing held me back. The book reflects my strength, the story of a baby girl looking for her angel at birth, the angel that promised her a beautiful life. Who and where was the angel? did she ever find her angel?
As for Alexandra, she was a dreamer, a small-town girl that saw her life and that of her family from a different perspective. She dreamed and wanted more. Events in her current made her future.
Had it tears, love, deceptions… well, it had all, and then it had love, success, and happiness…
It had a fairytale, simply because I, the author, believe in happy endings.

Did you get a chance to read my books?
I invite you to invest in a journey that will inspire and empower you… there is always a way when you believe in yourself!

#MOI Do not let people point fingers at you and say you made a mistake, tell them it was a life-turning event that made my future! Find happiness, you deserve it!

“About the journey, mine!
I may not be the best, but I’ve done the best I know of!
Mistakes… Countless, I never repeated the same mistake twice; they made me the person I am today!
Regrets… Not worth my time!
Pushy… I was not given space to rest!
Proud… Very!
Blessed… Wouldn’t you feel so if you had what I have!”
#MOI Today’s lesson: Life is beautiful; Full of opportunities and blessings; Don’t waste your time asking what if, focus on whatever you feel is right, and mainly keep on moving!

The StarFish child story…

25 Monday Apr 2022

“The StarFish child story…
Back when I was a director and peace education coordinator at school, I spoke to the students and we decided to embrace a less privileged child from the public school sector and move her to our private school.

The child was called The StarFish child, after the proverb and stories of Giving a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teaching a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

The child was chosen based on social status, finances, and academics. & trust me when I say, a less privileged child, she was in every sense of the meaning, as for academics, she was top of her class in the public school sector.

She joined our school, she was well received by everyone, the school psychologist followed up closely on her emotional and social development, and I followed up on her academics.

I knew it was not easy, although she made a few new friends, although she was offered uniform and stationery like everyone else, her life had changed.
Although she had a very strong personality, she was academically strong, she was outspoken, but I could sense her fear.
Was the fear of moving to a new school like any other child? probably, but she made it.
She succeeded, and on, one year after the other, she reached high school. & oops, I left, and she failed her Bacc II. I kept on trying, asking her to work hard, in order to enroll her in culinary school, but I failed.
Why did she fail? was I her sign of comfort? did she get lost in high school? did the culture shock hit her late in the process? so many questions, she could not pass the Bacc II until this day, I am still trying.

COVID life hit us all, she was working as a cashier, she was laid off; I received a call, and someone was asking for a companion for a senior. I contacted her and told her it was good money, it was a sleepover job, and she could save the money for university once life was restored.
I explained to her the importance of the job she is taking, that the senior person has accidents, and she would need to be a doctor and a nurse, something she helped doing at home with her parents and siblings; I told her this could be an opportunity for her to reach her dream, to be the lawyer she always wanted to be; she took on the job, she was doing great, I was following up on her, but the senior person had to be transported to the hospital, and she went back to being jobless.
Soon after, I contacted her, and she said she took on the same job, with another family; I was very happy for her, but reminded her, that this was a transitional phase and not a permanent job.

The pandemic was still hitting everywhere, the economical situation in the country was falling apart, people started emigrating, we had a lack in the medical sector like many other sectors; I received a call from the starfish child one day, telling me, she was admitted to become a nurse at one of the major hospitals in Lebanon, and she was so happy!

The moral of the story, fate put her in the family she was born to, but destiny was in her own hands.
Was it wrong to move her to the private educational sector? In my heart, I say, I gave her an opportunity, and it was up to her to fight her way through!
Did she struggle? I know she did, but she proved to be strong enough!
Is she going to succeed? she already did, and she is not done yet!”

#MOI about life and opportunities, grab them and hold on to hope, faith, HIS almighty shall guide you!

A new me, blogger for women, life and reality

“I am having a hard time returning back to my previous life.
Looking back at my social media memories, I tell myself, what happened to my life!

A phase that reminded me of the mourning phase after my divorce, I used to look at people in the social frame, and tell myself, where am I?

Well, it is only normal, & it is tough. The pandemic detached me from the face-to-face network, I live in a bubble, I prefer my own companionship and the weird thing, this is not me…”
#MOI Do you feel the same? will I go back on track or a new me is coming along?

If we look at the deterioration that happened during our lifetime, I say:
“Hey Humans, wake up, what are we doing to ourselves, what is happening to mother earth!”
We each have duties, to come together, & unite, to create new ways to protect what is left, and find ways to restore the damage, and invest in the future of our precious planet, together!
Where else can we go?!”

Author and biography, inspiration, life and reality, no pain, you are not alone

“Don’t cry my friend, better days are coming!
As I always say, no, you are not alone!
Dear inspired reader, glad I could help. Your words are very touchy, I feel your pain, & remind myself daily that I stood again.
Happiness is coming soon, stay strong!
Badiaa”

Thank you Badiaa Hiresh for the inspiration.
I received your biography book WHERE IS MY ANGEL? as a present from a friend.
She insisted on me reading it, I am going through a very tough period in my life, and I am not able to see myself. I guess I am not alone, I try to be strong, but still, I am crashing!
<<The person who was conquering the new journey with fierceness started falling apart and behind and that person was me. My outside was glowing and shining, while my inside was deteriorating and torn into pieces across the continents.>>
Your book made me realize a lot, I am starting therapy now, and I hope one day we meet!
As you said: <<She knew that destiny was in her own hands>>
Be Blessed.
Inspired reader

#MOI the author, I tell you, my biography told a story, but remember it was my life!

About the author: I write to inspire others, I said in my first novel and biography:
I am the master of my own destiny!
