I’ve been calling my mentor since yesterday. Reminiscing on your words, our chats, your messages… I guess I needed to hear your voice. I learned a lot in life, but I learned just as much from our time together; though it was short, and though it was not enough.

I made peace with my past — it no longer earns rights in my present. I made peace with my wrongdoers — their deeds are theirs to seal, not mine to carry. I made peace with this day — yesteryears were my brightest lessons. And I still wonder: can one make peace with tomorrow, not by predicting it, but by standing ready for the whole that waits to be lived?
