“The day after… fear and anxiety!
Although we are eager for this day to come, and we wait for it impatiently, there is this phase called fear that makes many not cross it and hold back. It is as if we are holding the knob of the door but not turning it, or turning the knob of the door and not opening it, it might look simple, but by doing so, it means I am taking charge of the day after.

Let me clarify more… when one decides on change, there is always this doubtful phase, the dilemma of did I make the right decision, the struggle between falling back or falling forward, the battle between self and community over what we hear…
This fear is not related to the past, it is rather about the day after; the anxiety we live is not related to the comfort of yesterday, because if yesterday was the comfort zone, why am I living the fear and anxiety of the day after; this fear is related to tomorrow, to the unknown, uncertain, and unseen.

It is only normal to feel so, but let me tell you, for you to have the courage to think about change, and actually take the first step towards the day after, this means you will make tomorrow happen; with few glitches here and there, no path is ever perfect, walk towards the day after, you will never know how strong you are, you will never know what you want until you put your hand on that knob, turn it, and open the door, but make sure you close it tightly behind you.

“What ever happened to love… I asked myself that morning when I woke up and did not find it!

I know that people change after marriage, I may have gained some weight but I carried two babies, I may have neglected myself but I had no time for me, I may have failed to love you the old way but I love you today in a different way… what ever happened to our love?

“Memoirs of a struggle to lose weight…
It reflects my life and the kind of woman I am… yes indeed!
It has been a while since I reported about my weight journey, and I assume many of you forgot about my struggle, or said, like any other struggle in life, we tent to give in and give up!
Well, fact is, my life taught me otherwise!
My life taught me that, at times, the road might be rough, but I should cross it to understand the end result;
My life taught me that, many times, I will feel alone, but that is to remind me that I am the master of my own destiny;
& My life taught me that, at any given time, when we hear that people will get positive results if they are patient, this means:
be determined to reach your goal, and motivate yourself to reach it when you feel time has stopped and the world is no long spinning!
Answer is, NO I DID NOT GIVE IN OR GIVE UP TO MY STRUGGLE TO LOSE WEIGHT!
Almost 10 weeks today, and my weight is down by 12.5 KGS
What is the secret?
Sometimes you are on your own in some steps, don’t fear the path!”

Well, it is struggle, only few of you will understand how tough it is to follow through;
It is a puzzle, especially when you tell yourself I can always start tomorrow;
It is a crossroad, because only you can decide which way to go!
Once you set your goal, ignite your inner-strength and determination, it will become easier, but as well, it is a way of life, a new path that you have to reach by opening new doors.
Like life, we find ourselves secure in our safety zone, be it weight, or emotional statuses, at times we fear opening those doors to reach new destinations, and we need someone to open them for us, and show us life beyond…”

“Memoirs of a struggle to lose weight: at one point, my focus was food, today…
Yes it was my focus, food nurtures the soul, and builds curves around the hips. This focus was emotional as much as it was binge eating! Was it a disorder? I don’t know, all I know, at times I felt that food was a healer, and a security zone. If you read my book “Where is My Angel?”, in Chapter 18 I say
I enjoy food, I am a social drinker, I love to smoke cigars, and Mediterranean hookah, and to me, those who enjoy food, music, and the dance floor, they appreciate life. I do appreciate life, I take the best out of every situation, and I believe that things happen for a reason…
My opinion did not change, except today, I enjoy eating what is necessary, I enjoy seeing the food on other’s plates and not mine, I became a visual degustateur, in English a taster, and not a physical taster.
Today, food still gives me joy, and I am proud of myself for enjoying every bite, and taking all the time needed during my meals.
My meals became a priority, because I deserve the time to eat right!”

Loving self is a big thing, it is your first and foremost motivation to be healthy! if losing weight is the goal, do it, It is about being fit and not being skinny!
Do it for you, start, join me at any point during this diet struggle.
I know it is tough, but only when in doubt it is!”

Day 2 :
Breakfast: Small size (Hand size – one side) wholewheat pita bread with 1 tablespoon light cream cheese sandwich.
Snack: 2 stevia cookies
Lunch: 2 pieces lean beef patty (inside hand size grilled) + salad small ball (Lemon mustard dressing)
Snack: Lemonade with Stevia sweetner
Dinner: 1 fingers size grilled quesadilla (1/2 tortilla +1 finger-strip grilled or boiled chicken + light cheese 1 tablespoon) + ball of salad green only(Lemon mustard dressing)
Snack: 1 ball diet jello

… I am bixxy – big and sexy – I am a beautiful woman, I don’t feel fifty or look fifty. I have true friends despite all I went through, we exchange true memories; I lived more passion than one can handle in a lifetime, and I exchanged true relationships, more than a single person can ever have…

Let me tell you how it feels… it is one of the biggest challenges, I am not losing weight because I am not beautiful, I am a big size woman, will always be,and I call myself BIXXY; I am losing weight because I feel tired when I go up the stairs, walk a longer distance than the usual one, and find it difficult to turn in bed…
Are you a bixxy, join me, let’s exchange our daily meals, and hope to reach our goal together, at the end, change starts with a step, on a specific day, a thought, a dare to yourself!

Dinner: green beans 1 cup + 1/2 hand size beef
Snack: 1 ball diet jello
