I survived the war, corruption, abduction of freedom, and value deterioration, & I am still witnessing hunger and deprivation of humanity’s basic survival needs.
I saw the man-kind participation in the evolution of life resources while, at the same time, using their power to execute humanity in all its forms.
Peace is the only way; We all dream under one sky!
“What else am I gonna witness… When I was born, there was a box in the living room, featuring in black & white, huge and heavy, with turn control buttons… that was the TV! Phones were dial-ring, we had to hold the handset, wait for a signal, and if lucky, and the caller was not busy, we got to speak to the people on the other side… Long-distance calls happened from the central station of the area… Typewriters were ink-ribbon and carbon-paper, tik-tik, tik-tik, and pull… Home and work computers launched a while after, huge desktops and screens, not to forget the number of wiring and connections… The home internet became a luxury service in some countries before others and was a dial-tone… Pictures were black and white, taken by a photographer, later we had home cameras, films were developed by Kodac stores, and pictures were put in frames and hung all over the house wall. Now they are stored on the cloud, accessible by technology, carried everywhere… Youtube in 2005, Facebook, Instagram, all other social media platforms, technology, language translators, phone & mobile, TVs, cars operation, microwave, traveling…
For those wondering about my age, well, I could live much longer due to the development of medicine and technology. Proper nutrition could extend our life… Medicine could cure many diseases now… & technology is used to help, support, and develop both! But, it is not what I witnessed only…
I witnessed overall life accessories, gadgets, and tools evolution and human and humane corruption, deviation, and retrogression developing simultaneously!
What else am I gonna witness… well, distance is still a problem; when my daughters are not near me, I want to see them and hug them… I can see them virtually, but still, I want more… I might probably soon see them via hologram technology, but will I be able to hug them!
What else am I gonna witness… going back to my question, I guess it is time to re-establish and re-define humanity, humans, humane, and what differentiates us from machines. The first step on the moon, the evolution of all basic life needs, the atomic age, war, tyrannical leaders, corrupt politicians, poverty, casualties of war, non-justified death, malnutrition, lack of water, lack of health care, lack of basic needs, cannot exist together anymore in the same era.
What else am I gonna witness, is my wish to what else am I wishing to witness… Give me a piece of peace that I can extend like a carpet worldwide… I wish to witness world peace and everyone sleeping with peace of mind!” #MOI What would you wish to witness? LET’S REDEFINE HUMANITY, & REWRITE HISTORY!

“Connecting with People…The Truth About You! When adults connect with each other, they always try to find common grounds. When children connect with each other, they directly move forward to togetherness.
What makes children change, what makes them grow into the details of status, ethnicity, race, religion… What or who wakes the demon in angels, if you believe as I do, that children are all born angels, and life situations works its course to change them.
The way I see it, it is very normal for children to start changing. Sometimes it is the community that includes parents, and other times it is the curiosity to explore who they are, but they change, they get affected by direct and indirect treatment that in return, will make them change and change the way they deal with others!
Sad? Very! but…
As parents, perfection does not exist, and truly, I wish parenthood came with a handbook. & since characteristics filters from one generations to another, so does emotional pain. If you think you outgrow abuse of any kind or lack of attention by parents, trust me, you may pretend you do, but deep inside, it is there. If you think you can outgrow bullying and mistreatment, trust after years of clinical therapy, you will learn to understand, and deal with emotions, but pain, and the memory of pain, cannot be erased. If you think that as a victim of abuse, bullying, and mistreatment, try thinking about the bully, and how they will take the remorse feeling to the grave. & if you thing that a bystander minded his business, regret will haunt them, and it will be a life challenge for them to get over the fact of not getting involved to stand in the way of preventing or supporting the victim…
However you turn the triangle of bully, victim, bystander, it will always have three angles; and however you try breaking the pain, it is a vicious circle that will keep on rolling, until this one person stand early on in time, and breaks it.
So, people, let’s work on a better future, by caring for the little minds. Children should not pay the price of our past and pain. We, as adult, are the tie breaker, when we ensure we do not inherit our children the flaws we lived, and we secure they see flaws and know how to deal with them.
Can we? yes!” #MOI Let us start building a generation of peace, and arm our children with humanity!

*Mommy, I am a PACER! Book by #MOI because I believe that children are the future, the change…
Abigail is a girl who’s made a difference in her community by becoming a PACER, but what is a PACER? A PACER is a person who exhibits perseverance, agility, clarity, empathy, and respect. In this collection of short stories, each book represents one of the letters of the word PACER and its attributed characteristics. Join Abigail as she perseveres in welcoming new members into her community, demonstrates her ability to make quick and successful decisions, learns to resolve conflicts by talking openly and honestly with others, and so much more! Mommy, I’m a PACER encourages children to adopt the attitude of a PACER and teaches them how to interact with others and react positively to many different day-to-day situations.”
#MOI While teaching and coordinating the Peace Education program, I saw the change in children day in day out… I truly believe in this book, try it!

“The <I do> thought is the dream of all girls, it starts at young age, it’s about the dress, the ring, the veil, the flowers, the music, the first dance, the cake, the crowd… It’s the vision of the prince, on the white horse, the kiss, the way he held my hand, the way he grabbed me on the dancing floor… Sometimes it goes beyond, to the dream of the house, the garden, the walk-in closet, the car… The girls grow, reality falls in, like darkness some of their nights become lightless, and like the thunders in the skies their dreams start turning foggy and their priorities changing…
With time, the dream starts turning into reality, and the glamourous I DO turns into LET’S BE TOGETHER. Simple, the dream of eternal love will dress a different gown, white it shall remain, but the prince becomes real, and the first dance will have a different music…
The difference between the dream of a young girl and the reality when grown, is that true love after the many heartbreaking experiences, that girl will learn that true love does not mean eternal peace, but rather standing by each other to reach it. We, people, men, and women, are different, but we all want love, a hand to hold when we share the pillow at night, and an I DO!”
#MOI When the dream becomes about the person and not the wedding, we can simply build a home instead of a house!

Hand in Hand we make the world a better place with the Ambassadors of Change Riya Yadav from India & Riad Tahan from Lebanon Livestream session Saturday August 15, 2020 @ 6:30 pmOn Service Learning & Culture Exchange
They stole my dream… That Tuesday, August 4th, 2020, was a chill day. The first day after 5 days Government Confinement due to Covid-19, all I wanted was to go to the beach and chill.
So I did, I sat under the sun… I looked up to the clear blue sky… What is happening to this world of mine… It shall heal, and reboot I say… I miss life and my life… I miss peace and that piece of the day… When children could safely go out and play… When neighbors could really trust self & others… What if we all spoke one language I say… What if we all had one passport I say… What if we all had water, food, and shelter I say… What if we all could pray our own way… What if we could love self enough to be able to love others… What if we could be good people. Good people, I miss that, I miss good people.
I stayed under the blue sky, smiling at the sun, and enjoying a fresh day… I started taking selfies and smiling, but in my heart, I was smiling, happily dreaming, until, they stole the dream of mine!
See the picture I shared, that day, right before the Blast in Beirut, with the status DREAMING OF BETTER DAYS!
Sometimes we ignore the importance of our dreams. My friends, dream big, live big, enjoy the moment, and every moment, enjoy my non-rhyming poem, but who sets the rules?! Have a non-rhyming life, it’s those moments that flavor our day!
#MOI Memories, Tears, & Prayers for the lost souls on August 4, 2020 blast of Beirut! & Tears for the living who were blessed with life but cursed with the memory that aches the heart from the inside!
Stay Safe everyone, and remember to smile…
HOW COUlD THOSE PICTURES BE TAKEN ON THE SAME DAY!
