“During Conflicts among Children, 7 becomes just a number!

Believe it or not, it is very difficult for a child to be left behind, it is not a matter of my child likes solo activities, when a child prefers his own company, it means that this child is either resisting to fit in or refraining from facing others and conflicts… both not healthy for the child if not dealt with.
MOMMY I AM A PACER! a book that deals with children’s difficulties and encourages them to change their behavior and be the change leader in their surrounding.
Some children are leaders by birth and other follow by example and that example is ABIGAIL, the main character. In the paragraph below, Abigail’s Grandpa was helping her solve conflicts with her friends by following the seven steps of conflict resolution.
I encourage you to buy the book for your child, read it yourself, and with him/her, and watch them change and express themselves through actions and co-illustration!
Enjoy!
“Seven becomes just a number once the conflicts are solved.
Step one: remain calm while talking.
Step two: ask your friend about the reason behind the conflict.
Step three: listen carefully
Step four: repeat what your friend has said to ensure you heard properly and show them  care to know the reason.
Step five: tell your friend how you feel, peacefully.
Step six: discuss a way to maintain your friendship in respect to both of you.
Step seven: if you cannot reach a solution, call an adult to help.””

“Because at times it takes a child to understand another…
it takes a child to protect another…
& it takes a child to guide another…
No, it is not fear that will prevail justice, nor the rules that will prevail peace…
It is the SELF that will change the world, and that SELF was once the CHILD”

“The child that changed the world, is he or she out there…. yes, & that child could be yours!

There is always this child with enough empathy to make a difference in their surroundings, with enough care to stand for others, & enough courage to face and defeat the bullies.

That child is inside every child of yours, with little encouragement they could be the change!

Read MOMMY I AM A PACER with them, & let them learn by the example of Abigail.

“Mommy, do you believe I can fly?”

“A peak at “Friends Are Special – The Story of Perseverance”…
Mommy, do you believe I can fly… A typical question by any child. And of course,Mom answered the typical answer every parent would say:
“Abigail – dearest, you can do anything you set your mind to!”
What my mom did not know is that I truly wanted to fly with my thoughts and actions in order to help Omar’s dog, Amber.
Book 1 in the series of shot stories of 5 that would help every child overcome the difficulties of childhood.
Be that parent, with empathy, that understands childhood, and show their child the way out.
Children, through Mommy, I Am a PACER, will co-illustrate with the author, express their feelings, and be the main change agent in their community!”

“My friend or No friends… is the disease of bullying that is talking over schools around the world. It is one sort of bullying among many where children take the lead in groups and unfortunately decide who and what.
Bullying, I always called it the vicious circle, unless the victim has a very strong personality, he/she will end up overpowering weaker or smaller people to feel better about themselves because sadly they fear to stand for the bully.
Why do children bully others, I always asked my students to look profoundly in the eye of the bully and try to find the weakness that lead to bullying; not all victims can do that!
Why do victims succumb to bullies and deny the fact that they were bullied? fear, shame, ego, and many more… my heart aches for those that cannot stand for self!
& Bystanders… when are you going to learn to stand for yourself by standing for others! Imagine the world around you when you stand by those who need you!”
#MOI and Abigail, the character that stood for her friends, give your child a chance to express themselves by following the steps of Abigail in MOMMY, I AM A PACER!

“It’s Back to School time, Leave no child behind!
With school doors opening, students go back excited to see each other and tell exciting summer stories they lived.
It has always been a beautiful and touchy scenery, except when observing new-comers!
Unfortunately, it is the case in every school, new-comers remain alone, and struggle to fit in.
As parents and educators, that awareness is very important, empathy, as much as it is considered a virtue, it is as well a choice, and reminding our kids to understand other’s position is crucial!
Leave no child behind;
Help them fit in;
& Accommodate differences!
Empathy will save the world, & Change someone’s life!”
#MOI I believe in goodness, I believe that one can change the world; It is a contagious disease, spread love, help others, carry the torch of change!
Join Abigail the main character of MOMMY I AM A PACER, and let your child follow by example.

“Being Good is Contagious!
Yes it is, & that is why I wrote MOMMY, I AM A PACER!
A series of 5 short stories in one book to read with your child, to encourage him/her to live the change, and be the change with the main character ABIGAIL.
Abigail, a young child, invites every child to be a better friend.
She has the values of the PACER, Perseverance, Agility, Clarity, Empathy, and Respect.
Through the pages of this book, your child will survive day to day dilemmas, express his/her feelings through co-illustrating the pages with the author, and instill the characteristics of being a better person, and a PACER!
The perfect bedtime stories, I encourage every parent to take the lead, and enlighten their child’s life with the characteristics of being a PACER!

“Racism is the conflict between what eyes see and mind describes.
Colors are not the offending words, it is rather the way we think and see things…
White, I see it as peace, goodness!
Black, to me is the shadow that is most loyal to us and the only one that never let go of us!
Yellow, I see it as hope, energy, clarity!
So next time you want to discuss “color”, try using characterizing thoughts instead, because at the end, we are all good, loyal, and hope for a better world for us and our children!
