“It is the story of Respect in the series of 5 short stories of
MOMMY, I AM A PACER!

TITLE <<I might be from the small world, but I have a voice!>>

The role of people in our life, the way they see us, hear us, and view us…
The way they treat us…
& the way they speak to us…
Childhood is like a justice court, it makes of us who we are as adults.
We might act strong while carrying deep wounds inside that drains us…
We might be strong, and too strong to become senseless…
We might heal, after working on self, and understanding others…
We might take the lead in healing self and the world!

Mommy, I am a PACER! is a series of 5 short stories where Abigail the main Character in all 5 short stories takes the lead in her community to make the world a better place for her and her community!

It’s a family reading book, for children and teens, where they co-illustrate with the author events from their life.
Read it, and share change with your child, and give them the freedom to heal self while playing a healing role in their community!

Synopsis:

Meet Abigail. Abigail is a girl who’s made a difference in her community by becoming a PACER, but what is a PACER?

A PACER is a person who exhibits perseverance, agility, clarity, empathy, and respect. In this collection of short stories, each book represents one of the letters of the word PACER and its attributed characteristics. Join Abigail as she perseveres in welcoming new members into her community, demonstrates her ability to make quick and successful decisions, learns to resolve conflicts by talking openly and honestly with others, and so much more!

Mommy, I’m a PACER encourages children to adopt the attitude of a PACER and teaches them how to interact with others and react positively to many different day-to-day situations.”

Divorce… when nothing else matters!

blog, Divorce, feelings, Men and women, Mourning phase

“Divorce… When nothing else matters, we feel angry, numb, devastated, weak, enraged, deceived, raped, and much more!
The two extremes of feelings between relief, and knowing what we want, fear, and wondering whether we have exhausted every possibility to continue, will eventually lead to one phase, the emotional shock.

Not matter how long we wanted this freedom, what we ignore, and what no one ever told us, is that we are entering a dark tunnel of grief where we are mourning our self and life!
The betrayal by the person that promised us happiness, that promised to stand by us, that promised to love us unconditionally, and be there for us, that betrayal and unfulfillment of promises, not only lead to divorce but as well to us standing midway, mid-life, mid-stage, and wondering… forget the enraged phase when and where we vent out aloud, I was mistreated; listen deep to the questions:
What did I do wrong?
Am I not worthy of love?
Was it me?
and the most important question: Will I ever trust again?
Dear partners,
It is tough, but I promise you one thing, no one can stand for you, speak for you, and be you; the time will come when you would need to stand on your own feet, in your own shoes, and wipe your own tears; you can do it, I did!

Friends & Readers… I am a woman but this applies to men as well!”

When I decided the end, I was actually…

blog, Divorce, life, new beginning, the end

“When I decided the end, I was actually planning a new beginning!

It is sad that girls at a young age, when they imagine the future, it is partly about love, the proposal, the wedding, the flowers… they dream, and at times, they plan… As I recall, I barely had that dream, I wanted to make someone of myself, I wanted a big family, I wanted to cook, I wanted to be the factory providing the beautiful product, I wanted to be a journalist, I wanted to tell the story!
All I did, back then, was write. At school, I wrote; at bedtime, I wrote in my diary; and my outings were writing at the beach…

So why I started with the statement, it is sad, because it is important to know at a young age, and it is important to tell our young girls, that, one day, when they stand at that crossroad, to decide on the future, the focus of the wedding, is rather the marriage, how to work on the unity, how to overcome obstacles, how to get used to live the couple successfully, and make a WE that was once an I, and how most importantly it is to invest in that wedding picture while making a home of the dream house!

Crossroads, we face them many times in life; with people, places, jobs, and state of mind… what matters is how we deal with them and perceive change.
Well, a topic deep at the heart of every step in our life, widely and honestly discussed heart to heart in my novel-biography Where is My Angel?”

#MOI there is a beginning for something every new day, make the best out of it!

Am I damaged goods?

“Am I damaged goods?

A question I asked myself… why is it that no relationship lasts? I cannot see myself as a duo, I cannot hold someone’s hand for long, I cannot keep near someone and sleep tight…

Am I damaged goods?

No you are not, you were hurt, deceived, and emotionally traumatized!

You forgot to speak for yourself, and probably were in a situation where you couldn’t…

Sometimes the fear is so strong that we cannot face it, or think we cannot. At that moment, we lack confidence under the attack of the abuser thinking they are the sole carer for our future that we fear raising our voice and speaking our mind.

So am I damaged goods? No I am not, no you are not.

We are are simply under the spell of the abuser, waiting for that moment when we gain our strength, confidence, and take charge of our life although with fear but it will take just a moment to knock that firewall we are hiding behind…

We will, We shall, because we are not alone and I know because I was once there, on the other side!”

#MOI the listening ears you need and your voice until we hear you up!

It’s not the house, it’s the home!

“It’s not the house, it’s the home!
Since I can remember, I wanted a family with thirteen children. I never understood why. I always saw a garden with everyone around, I always dreamt of a crowd, giggles, and noise. I never saw the house. It has always been the people.
Days passed, years flew, and I ended up with two daughters. At this stage, my dream started getting more visible, walls with the growing timeline of the girls, walls they painted in the garden and inside the house, I could smell the baking of every Sunday when I close my eyes and remember waking up early for them to have the freshly baked croissant before going to school; I recall school days, moving houses, leaving memories behind; I recall colors of the walls, the smell of their hair while brushing it after a shower; I still see the excitement on their faces when every house was an upgrade to the prior one, while in my heart I could not collect all the pieces left behind…
I remember every moment, cherish every phase left behind while wishing the next one would be the last, for better or for worse, as in the vow, but was as crooked as the days and path; I remember, because it hurts, I failed to make this dream happen…
But, lately, I have been doing lots of thinking, while granted enough time during the lockdown to review a few points and revive phases that were dormant.
I did not fail, my life was simply different, it started differently, it went on differently, my dream was different than other children’s dreams, I was different.
& only when you think that it is the house that matters with its walls and garden, you start realizing that it is home that will connect you under different roofs.”

#MOI lost between houses but I always had a home. I invite you to read WHERE IS MY ANGEL? and hope you find your own home!
