What are your goals for the 5-short stories co-illustration book “Mommy, I am a PACER”?

I would like to ask every parent to listen to their child’s dream and accept their character, and basically to believe in their children’s potential…
I would like the readers to consider the book an awareness of abuse…

1st time, I was not expecting it…
2nd time, I felt overpowered…
3rd time, it became their way of acting…
4th time, I lost my identity…
5th time…
Then, one day, I looked around me and saw people talking to me while I was not hearing them; they were looking at me with pity & I saw those who looked up to me, allowing others to mistreat them…

The story of abuse…
It comes in many forms; if we do not set the tone and protect ourselves, we cannot save and protect others!
It is okay if once we were weak, but it is not acceptable to be weak twice, and definitely not forever!

But when those with a rebellious, outgoing character get hurt or abused, the community blame it on their character, while when someone living by the book is abused or hurt, they blame it on luck or fate.

You fell in love;
You had love to offer;
You loved life;
You had an outgoing personality;
You trust others because you believe in goodness;

I lied… I was afraid!

“I lied… I was afraid! said… she is the victim, she’s afraid, she’s alone, she’s depressed, she is about to…

Yes, when alone and afraid, they feel it is the end of the world… sadly it is the end for many, someone I know put an end to it, another one is still living under his roof. To me, both are not alive. The first one ended her life, may she rest in peace, I learned late about her case, as for the second one, she is still under his roof… last time she called me, I advised her to seek help, her abusive partner is well connected, she was afraid to go legally, but she was able to document her case, and again, she refused to move forward, and unfortunately, I cannot contact her, I just wait for her to contact me!

A story, among many. A woman, among many.
That is the reality, a sick-minded man, allows himself to abuse a woman. My book, Life’s Detours – Alexandra’s Choices, targeted similar incidents among many others, it shows the results, it shows facts and tells a story, and then, it gives hope, because yes, there is hope and a solution.

For you out there, you are not alone, seek help, one fact, you cannot and should not handle it alone!

“Am I damaged goods?

A question I asked myself… why is it that no relationship lasts? I cannot see myself as a duo, I cannot hold someone’s hand for long, I cannot keep near someone and sleep tight…

Am I damaged goods?

No you are not, you were hurt, deceived, and emotionally traumatized!

You forgot to speak for yourself, and probably were in a situation where you couldn’t…

Sometimes the fear is so strong that we cannot face it, or think we cannot. At that moment, we lack confidence under the attack of the abuser thinking they are the sole carer for our future that we fear raising our voice and speaking our mind.

So am I damaged goods? No I am not, no you are not.

We are are simply under the spell of the abuser, waiting for that moment when we gain our strength, confidence, and take charge of our life although with fear but it will take just a moment to knock that firewall we are hiding behind…

We will, We shall, because we are not alone and I know because I was once there, on the other side!”

“About #Bella…
Bella was the first child born to her parents, Bella added a smile to her dad’s face and in return, he promised her security and happiness.
Bella grew older and, year after year, she was glowing and working on herself to meet her and her dad’s expectations.
Bella was successful, but at times, she faced difficulties, like any other young girl. Her dad, as promised, stood by her. except for one day,  she met a guy, and sadly, this guy abused her physically and verbally.
Bella shied away from dad and friends, fearing to be judged, and accused. what she did not know, is that such cases are not to be solved alone, and additionally, she is not at fault of such behavior.
I will end the story here, although much remaining to be discussed.
The lesson, Bella could be any one of us, and how many Bellas are out there struggling alone!
Dear Bella, speak up, and reach out, your dad will not judge you, and hopefully, he will fulfill his promise; as for friends, they will understand that only sick people allow themselves to abuse others.
You are not alone…”
