“Help… she said silently!
You see her every day, you watch her feed her family, you admire her energy, her strength and her ability to take her of everyone else; 
You never spoke to her, as she never initiated any subject…
You never approached her, as she always heads out when she feels others coming near…
You never tried, because you never thought about it.

Well, let me share with you a secret, she is dead.
This lady died long ago, she became a robot, her empty life was energized by her duty towards others, her empty heart was filled by giving continuously, as for her soul, she forgot she had one!

Dear friends,
International Women’s Day is approaching, let each one of us make the effort to ensure every person around us has a voice, and their voice is heard, let us make them feel alive, let us remind them that they are loved, let us ensure they remember that they exist!

“About that woman…
She smiles, she rocks, she is beautiful, she is mature, she is successful, nothing ever stopped her…
But, did anyone wonder what pushed that lady to reach that far, and/or where she is right now? did anyone ever wonder why she is seeking an extrovert approach to life?
Well, it is tough and good. It is good for someone to find success and boost her energy through her surrounding, yet, there is a question mark on what and who feeds her inner soul when she is alone; and is anyone holding her hand to sleep, reassuring her of security?!

About that woman, is she weak? or is she strong? at what point in life did the hole start growing deeper, and the gap getting wider?
Did anyone ever notice her silence, hear her words?
Did anyone ever listen to her, or shut her up?
Did anyone ever offer a shoulder for her to rest her head to sleep, or did they pull the pillow away?
Did anyone ever notice her, or they ensured covering her deep under?
& last, did anyone applause her moments?!

About that woman, she is me, you, her, and her… stand for yourself, and be assured that I am here standing for you… 
Share with no shame…
Speak up with no fear…
& Shine!”

      Despite the fact that my birth brought tears and not joy due to the loss of mom…
      Despite the fact that early childhood was an inquiry phase…
      Despite the fact that my adolescence was missing guidance…
      Despite the fact that as a young woman I struggled to build the house of my dream…
      Despite the fact that I divorced after 20 years of marriage…
      I am thankful for the inner-strength God blessed me with…
      I am thankful for the beautiful and successful daughters that were not affected with the trauma of my life…
      I am thankful for the joy I was able to secure for me and those around me…
      I am thankful for the love I was and still able to receive and give for everyone unconditionally!”

      Mommy, do you believe I can fly… A typical question by any child. And of course,Mom answered the typical answer every parent would say:
      “Abigail – dearest, you can do anything you set your mind to!”
      What my mom did not know is that I truly wanted to fly with my thoughts and actions in order to help Omar’s dog, Amber.

      Colors are not the offending words, it is rather the way we think and see things…
      White, I see it as peace, goodness!
      Black, to me is the shadow that is most loyal to us and the only one that never let go of us!
      Yellow, I see it as hope, energy, clarity!
      So next time you want to discuss “color”, try using characterizing thoughts instead, because at the end, we are all good, loyal, and hope for a better world for us and our children!
