The book genre is listed under Literature and Fiction. When I was going through the parts this morning, I was reminded of the pain and tears I felt and shed while writing it; as well, I was reminded of the strength and goodness we witness in some of the characters.

Sometimes along the way, and for different reasons, people decide to turn the page and move on to a new chapter!
We think about them, whether we miss them; or not;
We think about ourselves, wanting them around; it’s the force of human nature; we think about the gaps they left behind;
For whatever it’s worth, life is a journey with many opportunities; not all have the same vision or want the same goals;
But I believe our paths will cross again under different circumstances because what the past has built cannot be waived by a journey!
They will always come back, one way or another;
we may be available or not;
we may be around for them, or not!”
