My recommendation, test yourself, train your mind, and ask yourself the question: What would I do, if, and when things happen?

“Good Friday & my friends… I learned that two of my friends are in dispute. I learned that a few days back in confidentiality from one of them while asked for my opinion and not to interfere. I gave my opinion, and that was about how I would react when a colleague that became a friend gives his opinion as a colleague in a non-pleasant way. Of course, my comment was not well received, but I believe that honesty was due and important.
Yesterday was Good Friday to the Catholics, both my friends are Muslims, both of us are going through the fasting period religiously, and I know that they both are. So, I decided to target their conflict, indirectly, by writing the below on our common group on WhatsApp:
Nothing beats a peaceful mind like a peaceful soul. Today the Catholic relive Good Friday. I am Greek Orthodox (our Good Friday is next week) but since no one knows, what if, Good Friday is today, I celebrate both; & since I believe that I am only human, I cannot be God, I simply tell you, that love and forgiveness are the only weapons we need to change the world. There are many similarities in all religions, faith is the core for us all!
After I sent the message, I received a word related to the day, then the other friend explained the situation to me in a private discussion. Again, I gave my advice, and I believe I was able to get them to speak things over.
The problem with conflicts among adults is that ego plays a role that stands in between; not to forget if the conflict is between two genders!
As I said earlier, I am not God, I cannot forgive those who hurt me, I have a duty to resolve the conflict, to talk it over, to establish a peaceful connection… Notice, I used the word connection and not a relationship, I do believe that scars will seal but not disappear, I believe they bleed again when similar situations and events arise, I believe they become dormant! But in the end, peace must prevail in my heart before others, simply for me to move forward and not to remain stuck in a muddy spot!” #MOI I am not a bystander, how about you, will you get involved to try and solve a conflict?
“What else am I gonna witness… When I was born, there was a box in the living room, featuring in black & white, huge and heavy, with turn control buttons… that was the TV! Phones were dial-ring, we had to hold the handset, wait for a signal, and if lucky, and the caller was not busy, we got to speak to the people on the other side… Long-distance calls happened from the central station of the area… Typewriters were ink-ribbon and carbon-paper, tik-tik, tik-tik, and pull… Home and work computers launched a while after, huge desktops and screens, not to forget the number of wiring and connections… The home internet became a luxury service in some countries before others and was a dial-tone… Pictures were black and white, taken by a photographer, later we had home cameras, films were developed by Kodac stores, and pictures were put in frames and hung all over the house wall. Now they are stored on the cloud, accessible by technology, carried everywhere… Youtube in 2005, Facebook, Instagram, all other social media platforms, technology, language translators, phone & mobile, TVs, cars operation, microwave, traveling…
For those wondering about my age, well, I could live much longer due to the development of medicine and technology. Proper nutrition could extend our life… Medicine could cure many diseases now… & technology is used to help, support, and develop both! But, it is not what I witnessed only…
I witnessed overall life accessories, gadgets, and tools evolution and human and humane corruption, deviation, and retrogression developing simultaneously!
What else am I gonna witness… well, distance is still a problem; when my daughters are not near me, I want to see them and hug them… I can see them virtually, but still, I want more… I might probably soon see them via hologram technology, but will I be able to hug them!
What else am I gonna witness… going back to my question, I guess it is time to re-establish and re-define humanity, humans, humane, and what differentiates us from machines. The first step on the moon, the evolution of all basic life needs, the atomic age, war, tyrannical leaders, corrupt politicians, poverty, casualties of war, non-justified death, malnutrition, lack of water, lack of health care, lack of basic needs, cannot exist together anymore in the same era.
What else am I gonna witness, is my wish to what else am I wishing to witness… Give me a piece of peace that I can extend like a carpet worldwide… I wish to witness world peace and everyone sleeping with peace of mind!” #MOI What would you wish to witness?
