“Am I damaged goods?

A question I asked myself… why is it that no relationship lasts? I cannot see myself as a duo, I cannot hold someone’s hand for long, I cannot keep near someone and sleep tight…

Am I damaged goods?

No you are not, you were hurt, deceived, and emotionally traumatized!

You forgot to speak for yourself, and probably were in a situation where you couldn’t…

Sometimes the fear is so strong that we cannot face it, or think we cannot. At that moment, we lack confidence under the attack of the abuser thinking they are the sole carer for our future that we fear raising our voice and speaking our mind.

So am I damaged goods? No I am not, no you are not.

We are are simply under the spell of the abuser, waiting for that moment when we gain our strength, confidence, and take charge of our life although with fear but it will take just a moment to knock that firewall we are hiding behind…

We will, We shall, because we are not alone and I know because I was once there, on the other side!”

#MOI the listening ears you need and your voice until we hear you up!

Children, do not give them all the answers!

#Angel, #PACER, author of life, blogger, mentally healthy

“Children, do not give them all the answers, that is how you raise thinkers.
Children, do not entertain them all the time, that is how you nurture their imagination.
Children, do not tidy up after they play, that is how you encourage responsibility.
Children, do not decide for them, that is how they build their own mindset.
Children, to not judge them or judge others in front of them, not physical, nor in characteristic ways, that is how they learn to accept others and see the best in them.
Children, in front of them, accept your mistakes, embrace new opportunities with courage, accept challenges, take defeats as experience, try new skills, show emotions, don’t sink in emotional pain… that is how they build confidence, self-worth, and inner strength to reach their potential.
It is the same thing that applies to you and your partner.
Mr. Partner, read the above and remember that marriage is a new phase that requires new skills. & Mrs. Partner, there is a child inside each man, as for Children, a child remains a child by law and Human Rights until he reaches the age of 18, after that, I repeat, there is a child waiting to bloom inside each man and woman.”

Reading from Mommy, I am a PACER
By the author Badiaa Hiresh today at 5:00 pm Beirut time (2:00 GMT)

Meet Abigail. Abigail is a girl who’s made a difference in her community by becoming a PACER, but what is a PACER?

A PACER is a person who exhibits perseverance, agility, clarity, empathy, and respect. In this collection of short stories, each book represents one of the letters of the word PACER and its attributed characteristics. Join Abigail as she perseveres in welcoming new members into her community, demonstrates her ability to make quick and successful decisions, learns to resolve conflicts by talking openly and honestly with others, and so much more!

Mommy, I’m a PACER encourages children to adopt the attitude of a PACER and teaches them how to interact with others and react positively to many different day-to-day situations.

About the Author

Badiaa Hiresh is a multi-dimensional woman with a passion for writing. She began her career in the jewelry business, working in sales. She worked for a period of time as an accountant and as a manager for different retail stores before entering the educational field in 2001.

In 2015, Hiresh published her first book, Where Is My Angel? At present, she devotes most of her time to writing and advocating peace.

“I remember this day so well😎
Probably the last day I went out to a public restaurant before the #pandemic exploded.
All I want to say, this picture reminded me of how precious life is.
A tomorrow will come, it will be the tomorrow we are all waiting for, take the lockdown time as a lesson to re-evaluate your life and options, and be ready…
That tomorrow is coming soon!”

“Some days we pray,
some days we fight with God,
some days we laugh,
some days we cry,
some days we are in emotional pain,
some days we are in physical pain,
some days we dance,
some days we exercise,
some days we sit,
some days we work…
But every day we live, & that is the gift!”

MOI Enjoy the gift of life, it comes as a package!
