“Forgive… I don’t know, what does it mean!
I always think of this word, it aggravates me while I say it, spell it, and silently think of it.
I know all the versions of Forgiveness, it is not up to me to punish, we forgive for personal peace, people change, it is a perception, they did not mean it this way, they did not know how we felt, they were young, they don’t know any better, a new beginning for self, give yourself a chance to move on… I can give you all the reasons behind it, but can you tell me why I still wonder at time WHY DOES IT STILL HURT?
It is not about letting go and moving on, I know I did, I did climb to a higher level, I feel the success, I live the happiness of this stage… but simply, at times, I ask one question, WHY DOES IT STILL HURT?
As for apologizing… Oh that is a different word, the answer is expected to be, “I forgive you for breaking my heart, because the part you broke, will last for life!”
#MOI & the answer is, I FORGIVE BECAUSE I CHOSE TO, NOT BECAUSE YOU DESERVE IT! I FORGIVE FOR ME TO LIVE IN PEACE, NOT FOR YOU TO FORGIVE YOURSELF FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!

It is tough to hold back, and even tougher to speak up; Hope you enjoy my book, Where is My Angel? the opening statement!
“The journey started with agony, screams and pain; that is all I
heard and felt.
Hey, is someone there? I asked. Where is everybody? Where
did you all go?
Is that how we receive a newborn? I was told I will be cherished!
I was told I will find a group of people around me, ready
for me, expecting me! I was told I will be someone’s daughter,
brother, sister, cousin! This means lots of people out there! I was
told I will be treated like an angel! But instead, this weird reception!
Why is everyone looking at me this way? Why are some
of you ignoring me and avoiding eye contact? Where is the lady
that was supposed to hug me when she first sees me? I was told
she will be my mommy, and kids have only one mommy! Hey,
Mommy, are you there?
… that was the answer! Silence was the answer!
Can someone tell me what is happening? Well, it’s after a long
while that a white coat with glasses came to me. Oh I know, this
is the angel that promised me all the beautiful things. The white
coat said, Dear Child, I’m sorry to tell you, what a beginning!
Fate knocked at the door of your mommy, and she traded places
with you. You are now on your own. Stay strong!
But wait, you are not the angel that promised me a beautiful
life, where are you, my angel?
My angel was just there, in the corner, looking at me with
silence and never left!
That is how my journey started, with agony, screams and pain …
It was day one that I learned that pain is relative to the mind, and
if we are not strong enough to stand alone, pain will overpower
us! But remember I was only a child back then …
I dedicate this book to inner-strength, to women in general and
remember that beauty is inside you; to my mother on the death
bed and your thoughts at that moment; to my daughters: because
of you I am who I am today; to me and here is what I have
learned so far …
I am not looking for empathy, I am not looking for tears, I
am not asking you to learn from my mistakes although not all are
mistakes, I just wish you get to learn with time about the package
that made me the person I am today.”

“#MOI the #Author… let me share with you how it all started!
Throughout my childhood, I wrote, it was about… as I said in Chapter 5 of WHERE IS MY ANGEL?
What’s meant to be, shall be! True or not, to me it was.
For years, at night, I used to go to the private beach my family and I were members in.
I used to sit there on the rocks overlooking the ocean, write poetry, letters to…, and throw my thoughts in the ocean. The ocean was my way out, my soul mate , where I released all my feelings…
& since then, I found refuge between the lines, poetry in Arabic, and my diary, the diary that no longer exists, and the words became my thoughts.
To many, I was the outspoken teenager, blogs were not a trend back then, to me, it was simple words on papers. My Arabic teacher told me back then, you have the pen inside your soul, and I knew that one day, that pen will simply write a novel!
Few years back, after the chute of my personal life, on all levels, I found myself writing my 1st novel, and on my 50th birthday I wrote…
Chapter 20 …. And a new era begins!
Today, I am about to commemorate my first fifty, and all I can say, what a life!
I am sitting in a coffee shop, and thinking about my life. There are people sitting here and there, and at a table behind me a group of middle-aged women are talking, and I couldn’t help but hear their conversation. The same conversation I hear on a daily basis; couples splitting, women divorcing, their husbands not coping with the marriage, sleeping in two separate rooms, sharing financial house duties, and living as partners. That is the story of every house, sadly, but a true statement; is marriage becoming a disappointment!
No, it not, but an institution worth investing in, like any business. I failed to keep mine, but this does not mean you cannot!
If you get a chance to read my book, don’t read my story, but find yours between the lines, and make a better ending… Life is a book, and some books will change many lives!”

Despite the fact that I divorced after 20 years of marriage…
I am thankful for the inner-strength God blessed me with…
I am thankful for the beautiful and successful daughters that were not affected with the trauma of my life…
I am thankful for the joy I was able to secure for me and those around me…
I am thankful for the love I was and still able to receive and give for everyone unconditionally!”
