“Are they called mistakes or life-turning events?
If I am not talking about myself in my biography “WHERE IS MY ANGEL?“, I will be talking about Alexandra in
LIFE’S DETOURS, ALEXANDRA’S CHOICES.

I was a flying soul and all flying souls wander. I never rested, until I was chained to my daughters, but once they became independent, nothing held me back. The book reflects my strength, the story of a baby girl looking for her angel at birth, the angel that promised her a beautiful life. Who and where was the angel? did she ever find her angel?
As for Alexandra, she was a dreamer, a small-town girl that saw her life and that of her family from a different perspective. She dreamed and wanted more. Events in her current made her future.
Had it tears, love, deceptions… well, it had all, and then it had love, success, and happiness…
It had a fairytale, simply because I, the author, believe in happy endings.

Mistakes… Countless, I never repeated the same mistake twice; they made me the person I am today!
Regrets… Not worth my time!
Pushy… I was not given space to rest!
Proud… Very!
Blessed… Wouldn’t you feel so if you had what I have!”

“What else am I gonna witness…
When I was born, there was a box in the living room, featuring in black & white, huge and heavy, with turn control buttons… that was the TV!
Phones were dial-ring, we had to hold the handset, wait for a signal, and if lucky, and the caller was not busy, we got to speak to the people on the other side…
Long-distance calls happened from the central station of the area…
Typewriters were ink-ribbon and carbon-paper, tik-tik, tik-tik, and pull…
Home and work computers launched a while after, huge desktops and screens, not to forget the number of wiring and connections…
The home internet became a luxury service in some countries before others and was a dial-tone…
Pictures were black and white, taken by a photographer, later we had home cameras, films were developed by Kodac stores, and pictures were put in frames and hung all over the house wall. Now they are stored on the cloud, accessible by technology, carried everywhere…
Youtube in 2005, Facebook, Instagram, all other social media platforms, technology, language translators, phone & mobile, TVs, cars operation, microwave, traveling…

For those wondering about my age, well, I could live much longer due to the development of medicine and technology.
Proper nutrition could extend our life…
Medicine could cure many diseases now…
& technology is used to help, support, and develop both! But, it is not what I witnessed only…

I witnessed overall life accessories, gadgets, and tools evolution and human and humane corruption, deviation, and retrogression developing simultaneously!

What else am I gonna witness… well, distance is still a problem; when my daughters are not near me, I want to see them and hug them…
I can see them virtually, but still, I want more…
I might probably soon see them via hologram technology, but will I be able to hug them!

What else am I gonna witness… going back to my question, I guess it is time to re-establish
and re-define humanity, humans, humane, and what differentiates us from machines.
The first step on the moon, the evolution of all basic life needs, the atomic age, war, tyrannical leaders, corrupt politicians, poverty, casualties of war, non-justified death, malnutrition, lack of water, lack of health care, lack of basic needs, cannot exist together anymore in the same era.

What else am I gonna witness, is my wish to what else am I wishing to witness…
Give me a piece of peace that I can extend like a carpet worldwide…
I wish to witness world peace and everyone sleeping with peace of mind!”

“Why do people change? I asked, I asked myself, I asked him, I asked her, and now asking you…
Life, life events, growing into becoming different, pain, feeling helpless at one point in life, culture, people around you, what else, and why?

You know, there is a good change and not-good change…
There is a change that makes you a grown person, as an adult…
There is a change that makes your character and shows the person you became…
& there is the change that makes you not you, that makes you lack promises and change in attitude and in character… the change that could and would destroy what you have and once wanted!”
