“It is not about winning as much as it is about succeeding. You will do so when you make your goal the center of your attention instead of the goal of others. Some people will try distracting you with their loudness by asking for your involvement in their life; you end up missing your opportunity, & lagging behind… You want to master your own & succeed in your goal; remember that, and remember that your goal could be your life, not always be work-related!” #MOI Stay focused; it’s your life! It is not about winning as much as it is about succeeding.
“My diary, my secrets, & my forgotten memories! If you read my books, you will notice that there was always an ocean, there was love, & there was a story. Always driven by love, that was me, and more specifically, by passion. I believe that love can revive a dead soul; how about you? What is your story?” #MOI the pen, the diary, then the book… & somehow memories come back!
“Nothing heals a wound like turning the pages of a book and sealing the cover… I wish! Actually, my experience says, despite therapy, time, and change, the pain will pop up to the surface when we find ourselves in similar situations, to facing the same incidents with other people, even if the memory was dormant and isolated, that is the sad part. & as I always say, the victim of abuse, any form of it, will not heal, until they feel safe at the crime scene. Despite, I tell you, at a specific point in life, turn the book’s pages and seal the cover!” #MOI I decide when it’s time to face the past.

Sometimes you know the truth, and other times you know that the truth is in good hands; that is what I call reality. We have angels on earth, protecting us while sleeping, and others protecting us while we are awake. The world is harsh, making people become harsh, and when given a chance to prove themselves, people hide, lie, or deny… they refrain from saying the only word that matters to us, the word that will restore and protect our dignity & rights. Guess what, if I was counting to have my dignity & my rights protected by others, all I would say, so long! Remember, being trusted by others is a responsibility.
“About Alexandra, the main character in Life’s Detours: Alexandra’s Choices Determination was one of her main qualities, & I always asked, Can broken hearts be mended?
This story is about women and for women.
Alexandra is a dreamer, the youngest child of a large, reserved family. She longs to escape her small-town life and begins a secret life when she is nearly sixteen, singing at a small pub in the next town over. Her parents find out and give her a choice: stop singing or leave home. She leaves and soon finds herself involved with a much older man. When she discovers she is pregnant, however, her entire life changes once more. She sets out on a journey to a big city, determined to make her own choices and find her dreams, regardless of the challenges she faces.
Between the life chosen for us and that we chose, we learn lessons that we forget with time. We end up sinking, derail from the right path, and then miss opportunities as we dread embarking on new waves, thanks to the depth of the wounds caused by those closest to us. But when we feel most disappointed in ourselves, we must be strong and remember we deserve happiness, justice, and success.
This novel follows the life and journey of a young woman facing an unexpected pregnancy without support from anyone and choosing to chase her dreams anyway.
About the book MOMMY, I AM A PACER and the main character in the five short stories. She believed she could change the world with communication, love, & kindness; through perseverance, she did make a difference in her community. She helped Amber, Omar’s dog, fit in his new community; both, Amber and Omar, represented the new kids on the block. She showed agility; she was there for the team and proved the importance of teamwork. She understood that any conflict must be addressed openly; she followed the guidance of her grandfather to solve the differences with her friends. She had empathy and saw those left behind, and more importantly, she connected with them to include them in all activities. She knew that everyone was unique and had their strength; given time, and respect, they shall prove themselves. That was the main character in the five short stories. Inspired by my experience with children as coordinator of Peace Education and the Middle School Director, I needed her daily; I tried to push the students to see how they can change the world with communication, love, and kindness. Her name was Abigail; what is yours?”
