Let me share a fact with you, the tears you see as a parent are the burst of a child’s emotion after a long time of concern in the mind of that little child. No matter the child’s age, their concern is bigger and stronger than their mind or what they can handle. Bullying, comes in different forms, physical, verbal, emotional, electronic, in person, via the social community, and … If you notice a change in your child’s behavior, raise a red flag, and get involved… If you notice fear and indifference in your child’s behavior, raise a red flag and get involved… If you notice a physical change, anger, change in clothing style, nutrition, money spending, etc, raise a red flag and get involved… Victims should not be alone, and don’t expect them to outgrow their fear and face their situations alone, and always… Bystanders should have character, take a stand in life, and prove existence… As for the bullies, once a bully, always a bully! Unless they learn to cope with their fear, weakness, and problems that leads to them enjoying seeing the pain in others carelessly!
I saw a child, sitting during the school break alone, the worst part was that the child ensured he remained invisible to others around him on the court. I saw fear, hidden tears, his head looking down more than up, using his sight vision to avoid eye contact with his surroundings, staying behind an invisible wall to exclude himself…
Close your eyes and imagine that child, imagine that child is yours! How do you feel? Now imagine your child knows about that child and what happened to him! How do you feel? Should you encourage your child to stand up for himself, not be a bystander, and be the voice of the helpless?
AND NOW, PLEASE OPEN YOUR EYES, LOOK AT THIS CHILD, AND IMAGINE THAT THIS CHILD, LIVING IN FEAR, WITH HIDDEN TEARS, IMAGINE, THAT HE/SHE WAS BULLIED BY YOUR CHILD! Now tell me, HOW DO YOU FEEL?
The monster I raised, every child was born innocent!

Meet Abigail. Abigail is a girl who’s made a difference in her community by becoming a PACER, but what is a PACER?
A PACER is a person who exhibits perseverance, agility, clarity, empathy, and respect. In this collection of short stories, each book represents one of the letters of the word PACER and its attributed characteristics. Join Abigail as she perseveres in welcoming new members into her community, demonstrates her ability to make quick and successful decisions, learns to resolve conflicts by talking openly and honestly with others, and so much more!
Mommy, I’m a PACER encourages children to adopt the attitude of a PACER and teaches them how to interact with others and react positively to many different day-to-day situations.

“I GOT AN AWARD” The Story of Agility from Mommy, I Am A PACER
***Getting close to the final game of the season, Coach Roger asked us to join him to the soccer field one day before the match. He ordered Pizza to the field, and he placed blankets on the grass where we sat and had dinner. Then he said: “I am sure you are wondering why we are dining together on our field. Usually, people dine together as a family and as friends at home. Tomorrow, as you play, I want you to remember that this is your home, you should be proud of what you have accomplished regardless of the results. Play for you, for your friends and family, have fun but defend your home. (handing the award to Abigail, the main character, he said) I am proud of you and here is your award!”***
#MOI the author, I wrote this book after years of experience as a Middle School Director, and being the Coordinator of Peace Education. My goal was to establish a safe zone for children, to have them grow with values, and learn from their mistakes. I used to tell them, you are allowed for one mistake per day with zero consequences, as long as you do not repeat the same mistake… We used to talk, and analyse their behaviour, and the repercussion of their actions. I wanted to create ambassadors of peace for them to go out to the world and make it a better place. Did I succeed? I was able to reach many, I saw their pain, and felt their anger… Why would kids at young age, have so much anger, pain, and hatred, that they can hurt others… what is happening in the world? How can they sleep at night? Will this pain, they are causing others, shadow them as adults? Are there bullies in the adult world, will they become one, or would they heal? I tried, I kept on trying, and then I wrote this book of five short stories, with the intentions to keep the mission of change alive, and to have this book reach every child, and parent. The child will co-illustrate with the author and express his/her feelings, while understanding the values and characteristics of change and of being a PACER.
I hope you enjoy it as adult, as a parent, and with your child!
