Life is Precious…
“I read something beautiful today by a colleague due to the loss of a young student…
God takes people when they have reached their level of perfection!
Directly, I had this feeling, the conflict of sorrow with gratefulness, Life is precious indeed!

So I said to myself since I am by far not close to perfection, I guess I still have a long way.
Most of us, wherever we are, had and still have a tough period. Starting with the raging virus, to surviving it, to the fear every time we or someone sneezes, to losing people, to missing people for social distancing, to emotional and economical instability…
& for that, I say, life is a bouquet of blessings that outnumber the hurdles…
Sometimes I forget, but when I look closely,
I am reminded by my daughters when I see them happy, succeeding, and energetic;
by the beautiful people in my life and their stories, when I detach myself and watch them moving forward and leaving their problems to dissolve with time;
& mainly when I witness unconditional love spreading over and over again, adding security and joy to others…

“Why can’t I stop crying!

Yesterday, I lost my cousin to COVID, he lost the battle, although I told him to hold strong, not to let go… yet, he lost!
& I am crying now, have been crying since, and Oh Lord, I cannot stop!
As I was standing out on my balcony, staring at the skies, waving him to fly safely to eternal life, I started wondering why was I crying so much…
I know his departure made me sad, broke my heart, the call to his mom devastated me, a die solo thought ate me alive, his wife and kids alone while us not able to hug them, be with them, and stand by them, made me feel as if I was betraying him, yet, it was more…
Thinking about the COVID patients, sleeping alone, living the fear alone, the pain, the anxiety, the solitude, makes me wonder, how are they feeling?
Am I scared? Am I worried? Am I anxious?
Well, I guess it is all of the above; I know I am, and I know I am sad for my cousin, for all those losing the battle for #covid… My heart has always been with you, but I guess now I know better how you feel!
Dear cousin, our angel in heaven,
you shall be missed, and instead of crying your death, I will try and remember your smile, and celebrate your life among us…
Until we meet again!

“Today’s series of unfortunate events:
*I woke up to go to work and as I was heading to the car I realized i had left car and house keys at home
*I asked the janitor about the spare car keys, he didn’t have any, but, the car has been open since Friday afternoon, no comment on that part, i was at bed rest because of my back pain, anyways
*the janitor had the spare key to my house, I took it, got my car keys and left
*As I drove off to work, I realized that there was a light seeking attention on the board, I thought it was the oil although it looked like the brakes light, so I stopped by the gas station, turned out the oil was on the low level,filled some oil, and left while the brakes light were still on
*I got to work, as I was leaving, the car wouldn’t run, so I looked up asking for a signal, call a cab, sleep in the office or so…. the car started!
I left, suddenly the brakes light turned off!
The best part, I had pizza for dinner and didn’t choke 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️!”

MOI I guess the year is wrapping up and only beautiful moments lies ahead

Thank you God for taking good care of me during this day
KEEP FAITH, I tripped but didn’t fall!

To me, it means solo in a world of a crowd, where you learn to enjoy your life alone, and not depend emotionally on others!
It means, it is ok not to have someone to love in your life especially if and when you keep on falling around people to whom you are not a priority;
It is a realization, that life, although it consists of having a partner with whom you share love, special moments, building memories, and enjoying the everyday ups and downs, yet, being alone among a crown does not mean you are lonely;
Cheers to this phase, although having this one person, ends up being an illusion, yet, living on this person’s memory lasts at times longer than its reality!
