“There is always another side… of you! A side that will; A side that can; A side that is thirsty for adventures; A side that wants an opportunity to flee; A side that does not about being judged; A side that wants to live…” #MOI there is always another side of you, find it, start yesterday, time is clicking!
“You Haven’t Done Anything Wrong! But when those with a rebellious, outgoing character get hurt or abused, the community blame it on their character, while when someone living by the book is abused or hurt, they blame it on luck or fate. Ale (Alexandra), Chapter 9
It is the reality in a fiction book, the reality we live, in our daily life. No, “You Haven’t Done Anything Wrong! You wanted to be loved; You fell in love; You had love to offer; You loved life; You had an outgoing personality; You trust others because you believe in goodness; You were born to live your life… No, You Haven’t Done Anything Wrong!”
#MOI the word abuse was mentioned at least seven times in Life’s Detours, Alexandra’s Choices, but abuse has taken different forms many more times! For all those abused women out there, No, You Haven’t Done Anything Wrong; & No, You are never alone!
“Why do I write? a question I was asked constantly. I feel it is a gift. When one has a gift, one ought to share it with the world.
Books are one kind of inspiration, the kind that people go to when they want to clear their minds and see the world from a different perspective or simply see another world that is the genre they choose.
I feel this is my role as an author. I started sharing my own life story & biography, Where is My Angel?, which I considered my personal therapy. While writing it, pain popped up; memories popped up, questions popped up, and many answers. The biography made many uncomfortable, and here was the surprise! What did she say, insinuate, or not say, and why?
Then came the other two books, Mommy, I Am a PACER & Life’s Detours: Alexandra’s Choices. The first book is a series of five short stories to help children verbalize everyday feelings, and parents understand childhood from the viewpoints of children. It is co-illustrating pages between the author and the child, where the child expresses what he or she is going through, and an eye-opening book for educators. The latest is fiction, and as the dictionary says: Fiction describes imaginary events and people. But trust the author when she says: you will find yourself in the course of the events, you will relate to the characters one way or another, and mainly will sink in a beautiful novel that will make you imagine the characters in front of you as a movie or a telenovela.
Going back to the main question, why do I write? I want peace and love!”
#MOI Imagine if your word and action can make someone’s day, and imagine if they can break it. Imagine if you are the source of someone’s smile, happiness, & peace of mind…
“When you love life, life will love you back… Enjoy your time; enjoy your days; enjoy your friends; and those who deserve to have you around. Life is a set of moments, the goal is to sit one day and enjoy them as memories!” #MOI Keep hope floating!
“Yes I smile, and always will… Do I have something to worry about? Yes I do; Do I have a reason not to smile? Oh yes I do; But I know that somewhere, someday, someone, somehow… things will be fine, I know that today was better than yesterday, and have full trust in tomorrow!”
#MOI God is there, every step of the way, even the crooked ones!
I am the author telling you, while reading, remind yourself: it’s life, not a book; it’s a woman, not a character; it’s reality & not a story!
“Freedom is not a story to tell; Freedom is life in action!” #MOI The author tells you, while reading, to remind yourself: it’s life, not a book; it’s a woman, not a character; it’s reality & not a story!
Self-awareness is one among many to be able to focus on something positive when in a negative situation. Self-awareness is recognizing your strength when others deny and ignore your potential… Self-awareness is reminding yourself you exist when others try to disregard you in different contexts… & for that, I say…
I am here… & tomorrow, I will say, I am here… & in other places, I will say, I am here… I will move with time, with places, and still, I will say, I am here… As for you, you will always be there, in the past… Move on, & Move away… You cannot hold me back!”
#MOI talking to myself and those retaining #MOI emotionally before physically!
