They stole my dream… That Tuesday, August 4th, 2020, was a chill day. The first day after 5 days Government Confinement due to Covid-19, all I wanted was to go to the beach and chill.
So I did, I sat under the sun… I looked up to the clear blue sky… What is happening to this world of mine… It shall heal, and reboot I say… I miss life and my life… I miss peace and that piece of the day… When children could safely go out and play… When neighbors could really trust self & others… What if we all spoke one language I say… What if we all had one passport I say… What if we all had water, food, and shelter I say… What if we all could pray our own way… What if we could love self enough to be able to love others… What if we could be good people. Good people, I miss that, I miss good people.
I stayed under the blue sky, smiling at the sun, and enjoying a fresh day… I started taking selfies and smiling, but in my heart, I was smiling, happily dreaming, until, they stole the dream of mine!

Sometimes we ignore the importance of our dreams. My friends, dream big, live big, enjoy the moment, and every moment, enjoy my non-rhyming poem, but who sets the rules?! Have a non-rhyming life, it’s those moments that flavor our day!

“Hello Summer… Whether willingly or due to the world circumstantial COVID 19 crisis, our life has changed, and our summer days have extended. Many among us are no longer in the job, many among us are no longer in the same job conditions, many among us are living with concern about their jobs, and many among us are still fine!
Well, define FINE, the word we use constantly. Let me tell you how fine I currently am. We live in a corrupt country, in a country where people take advantage of situations to backstab others, in a country where the bread price is increasing because they cannot contain and protect the prices of the basic life needs, in a country where we don’t know whether we will have fuel tomorrow to run our cars and generate electricity, in a country that is so beautiful but I think people breastfed corrupted milk, therefore, they became naturally corrupt.
This is the sad truth about our beloved Lebanon, the land of Saints, History, beaches, nightlife, day road trips, food and cuisine, religious sites, culture, archeology, adventures, architecture, and much more… Whatever you hear is an understatement.
So, Hello Summer, the season I love, Hello days of sun, and beach, and long nights… except, now, the long nights are the concern about Tomorrow in Tomorrowland!”

Heart Broken but not Broken! It is me lately, and my feelings…
Could you please ease my pain… I cannot see injustice… I love ethics, I ache for rightfulness, I charge on happiness of others, I make sure I help others, I stand by words of honor, but I am indignant… What ever happened to humanity… What ever happened to human race… People lost something, they dropped it along the way, I miss those humans, I miss knowing they are around, will they ever find themselves again, or are they lost in the flow of nowadays!
You cannot have two faces in life, your shadow shall reveal the true you!
#MOI Words will define humans & humanity, while actions will define how humane one is… not everyone is expected to fit in!

The day after… the story no one told! the day came, I always wondered, how it would be! My parents, and those their age and generation, always told the story of immigration.
They told the story of how they moved, they left everything behind, they carried the key around their neck, and left… They never packed, they did not have time to do it, they waited for the last ship to take off and they were on it… They did not know about tomorrow, they never decided on the country of tomorrowland, they simply walked towards tomorrow… They were in charge of self, and other family members, they feared the outcome, but they never had time for setbacks… They cried the past with dried tears, were pleased with a safeland, but never forgot their homeland… The key to the house is still around their neck, now others occupied the house they left behind, others made and have their own key, while that key… That key is still around their neck, it became the key to the future, it was a lesson that one can only carry memories, the only thing no one takes away from us, good or bad, they become the stepping stones to tomorrow, the stepping stones to this day!
The day after… the story no one told. They had no time to sit and tell it, & now, it is too late!” #MOI wondering about history repeating itself…
