“Let’s get a bit personal… This guy has been getting in touch with me since Christmas. First we were going to have lunch, but he tested positive to COVID. Then we spoke a few times, and he kept on sending good morning messages. I did not want to meet him as I was not comfortable meeting people due to the fact that they can carry the virus to me.
Now that I am vaccinated, I told him that I am ready to see him after he blamed me for not answering, he did not reply, but he keeps on sending good morning messages.
Let’s rule things out:
- He is not married
- I am willing to give him a chance
The questions I have:
- Why? Is it me? My character? & if so, why is he still sending messages?
- Am I a plus one on his phone contact list?
- Should I block him, because I am disgusted?
Actually, I will sending him a message now saying please do not send me good morning messages anymore.
My instinct tells me he is insecure although he sounded comfortable talking to me.”
