“No I am not afraid, the voice said, but deep in the heart, when you put the key in the door, when I hear your footsteps, when you look my way, when…
I feel your fierce look and words piercing through my soul…
I look at you but my eyes are not seeing you, I become blinded by fear…
I can see your lips moving, but all I am hearing is the echo of death valley…
It was my voice saying, No I am not afraid… that was back then, but today I say,
I am no longer afraid… I am far beyond any pain!
Where is My Angel? #Book by #MOI and the time I overcome fear…
#Angel @Angel
The echo of Death Valley did bring up a memory. I used to work in Domestic violence/ Missing Persons at the police dept. We had a call to find this woman who was out in the desert with her boyfriend in a tent trailer. He got mad at her and beat her up really bad and then tried to set her on fire and burned up her tent trailer and pretty much left her for dead. We found her through her cell phone because she called us. She came in a looked awful. She was all “arrest him”. Then she came back not wanting the guy arrested, she loved him. She wanted to drop the charges against him. I don’t know if they did.
Connie … I always wondered whether forgiving someone for hurting us (of course not to the extreme of this lady) is partly fear and or avoiding confrontation
I think after they heal they want the creep back.
