“Are you ready for Christmas…
Yes, always and everyday! I welcome this holy season and prepare my soul for 11 months!
I reconcile… I don’t lie, I try my best to bring to my table those who were away for a while; but do I bring them back to my heart? it is tough, I am not God! but at least, as a first step, I consider myself on the right track!
I give from the heart… I do, and drag those around me to join. Not because it is Christmas only, but because giving makes me feel at peace. So this year, I and the group of Third Age University – #AIUTA at AUT, American University of Technology are preparing toys, food units, and clothes, we are visiting families in need in their homes to add joy to the hungry and poor!
& last, I celebrate, yes, I embrace the birth of Jesus wholeheartedly, and pray for peace, love, and the physical and soul healing of sick people.
So… how are you preparing for this holiday?”

“Memoirs of a struggle to lose weight… no I am not over yet!
I bet you said to yourself, oh, like all of us, she got tired, she is waiting for Monday to start again, cravings are irresistible, etc…
I agree with every thought that went through your mind…
I did get tired, but not from my routine…
I waited for every new Monday, because to me, I was proud of myself for not crashing every weekend…
Cravings were and still irresistible, yet I managed to content myself with the basic needs, except on cheat meals, and he is where I was proud of myself for eating one bite of every Lebanese Mezze on the dinner table, and I managed to leave the table, content, not hungry, but mainly not with indigestion!
Remember, I always felt beautiful, sexy, and attractive, I came to this world as a big package, today I am still, and will always remain, the BIXXY, because some things will never change, except -15.2 KGs (33.51 Pounds) in 90 days!”

“Memoirs of a struggle to lose weight…
It reflects my life and the kind of woman I am… yes indeed!
It has been a while since I reported about my weight journey, and I assume many of you forgot about my struggle, or said, like any other struggle in life, we tent to give in and give up!
Well, fact is, my life taught me otherwise!
My life taught me that, at times, the road might be rough, but I should cross it to understand the end result;
My life taught me that, many times, I will feel alone, but that is to remind me that I am the master of my own destiny;
& My life taught me that, at any given time, when we hear that people will get positive results if they are patient, this means:
be determined to reach your goal, and motivate yourself to reach it when you feel time has stopped and the world is no long spinning!
Answer is, NO I DID NOT GIVE IN OR GIVE UP TO MY STRUGGLE TO LOSE WEIGHT!
Almost 10 weeks today, and my weight is down by 12.5 KGS
What is the secret?
Sometimes you are on your own in some steps, don’t fear the path!”

“Memoirs of a Struggle to lose weight: the stubborn weight!
For the past 5 days, the scale was stuck! it was tough, I felt the fat was testing my determination…
Let me tell you, I felt like breaking my promise many times. Yet, no I did not! You know why, because the promise is very important, it is a commitment; I did not want to do to myself what others did to me!
I promised myself to be healthy and happy, and I shall be; Healthy, because I am prone to diabetes since I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter, and Happy, because I feel lighter, and healthier.
Those few kilos I lost so far are the stepping stones towards #MOI’s new lifestyle and future, nevertheless, I shall always remain a BIXXY, Big & Sexy, because the basics of my size will never change!”
