“There is no time lost unless we don’t learn from every moment!
A statement I wrote in 2014, on this day, after an emotional, personal, and financial crash, right after my divorce on November 11, 2011.

& who would say things were not correlating and happening to me, and to me only; I used to look around and wonder whether I was the only person there receiving those kicks; honestly, that is how it felt.

I recall the crash, the tears I had no strength to wipe, and silent screams…
I recall all I wrote in my biography because that was the rock bottom that launched it!

I recall the pain when I was writing, I recall the anger, and then I saw the light, hope, and peace, and then I read all I have achieved and remembered and told myself “There is no time lost unless we don’t learn from every moment!”.
Only God knows my strength, I thank HIM dearly for being where I am today.”

But when those with a rebellious, outgoing character get hurt or abused, the community blame it on their character, while when someone living by the book is abused or hurt, they blame it on luck or fate.

It is the reality in a fiction book, the reality we live, in our daily life.

You wanted to be loved;
You fell in love;
You had love to offer;
You loved life;

“When relationships become a comfort zone…
I would like to be rational & say when people/friends/best friends hurt us, it is unintentional, and they have their own problems… But how could we ignore the pain they caused us!

You ask yourself many questions:

Should I take it personally?
How recurrent is the event?
Is it time to react?
How should I respond?
It is worth it to speak up?
When should I discuss it?
Is this person growing a new personality?

& should I react? is the last question.
#MOI thinking of relationships, I believe the more people feel comfortable, the more they allow themselves to cross boundaries.
Depending on how close one is, sometimes space is needed to evaluate the pain caused by others and decide when, if, & how should one react.

I am Badiaa Hiresh, I was born in 1964 in Lebanon, where I lived and worked, raising two daughters Vanessa and Tiffany. At age ten, the civil war started. Living in fear and anxiety made me grow up wanting freedom and peace.
My dream was to live in the United States.
At age 25, I shipped out to the United States. I used the term shipped as I took the only way out of Lebanon, a ship sailing to Cyprus since the airport was closed.
Living in the United States gave me an international perspective on my home country.
I was born a jeweler, worked in the family jewelry business and shifted to education when I had my first child.
If you think the war was in my country only, read my Biography, Where Is My Angel?, and realize the war I survived on a personal level.
If you read Mommy, I Am a Pacer; you will understand the importance of childhood to me.
& if you read Life’s Detours – Alexandra’s Choices, you will realize my goal of writing and the reason behind my blog Your Everyday Coffee where I encourage every woman to speak up.
I write to inspire, some events are real and others are fiction. As I always say:
