Something I wrote long ago that I had saved in my memory box. Do you believe we can survive each other’s past? Back when I wrote it in 2013, although I did write it as a joke, actually, I did it as momentum. I wanted to stir some minds and remind them of the importance of the now!
Do you believe we can survive each other’s past, or can you let go of your past? I always remind myself that I am blessed to reach this day, despite all the packages that intended to break me in the past… As I said in the synopsis of my biography Where is My Angel?: Once upon a time, a child was born. Between the different events, that child learned that the end in sight is more important than the beginning. My story is not unique, maybe the sequence happening to one person is. I am every woman, every story behind closed doors, every marriage, and every company. This is the story of a woman born in Lebanon with an international view on life. True, and we, the I, do not deny! When I am angry, I smile. I hold back on the enormous amount of love I can offer when I feel taken for granted, & my love is not appreciated. As for trust, you dare to pronounce a word you don’t understand? Look in the mirror, and ask the person you see: What Have I done? (Remember to be honest, at least with yourself!)
Last, let me say, as a result, it means my actions were a reaction. I responded after a long while; it was way overdue! The life I lived, the days I missed, & the what if.”
