Q: What is your biggest strength, your unique feature? I asked
A: Today is the day to celebrate International Women’s Day #IWD2023. A day I take pride in celebrating every day.
The key feature I say is survival; my comfort zone is myself, not a location; my focus is to succeed, and my challenges are my dreams…
I am a mommy that succeeded in motherhood without a handbook; I succeeded in the work field without guidance; and as an author, I spoke from the heart; I fit in this year’s theme DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality because I embraced the cloud and virtual world wholeheartedly and conquered it without fear as an influencer, and a Social Media Host, & Broadcaster.

I take pride in every moment, step, and achievement simply because if I do not cheer myself up, who would!

Q: What is your biggest fear?
“We all live the moment where we feel the ground underneath is shaky…
We stand stronger…
We hold tighter…
To what, who, where…
We do it! But there is one moment of fear… what is your biggest fear? I asked”
A: Oh definitely what I cannot control… the unknown, tomorrow!

Q: What is your biggest concern? I asked
No matter all the securities surrounding us, there is a concern that keeps us awake, anxious, and stressed… What is it?”
A: Distance, separation, and not to be able to hug those we love when we want!

Q: What is your biggest strength? I asked

“At times, you feel that everyone is guilty…
And so true, guilty till proven innocent…
I give a story to every face, a name to every face, and the worst part, I connect the faces to the past…
Yes, it is very true, l live in my own jail, and I cannot get me back on the horse…
I know that one day I will wake up and see that someone has disappeared or pulled their hand away again, so…
l am safe, behind my own bars…
But what if this one is different, there are people out there that are innocent till proven guilty…”

“I am running, running, running away as fast and as far away from love.
Disappointment pinned me down, and no more love other than the passion I offer, and I decide when, where, and how.”
Failed by those she looked up to, and built hope with and around, Alexandra, Lady, & others ran away from love.
People say it was only one love, I say it was the big love we envisioned…
Is it paternal, parental, spouse, or friend… at what point do we start running away?

What is the overall theme of your book? they asked about Life’s Detours: Alexandra’s Choices
I answered with no hesitance:

“Fate came with her birth, but she knew that Destiny was in her own hands” a statement from my first book “Where is My Angel?”
A statement I truly believe in; we make our future only when we dare to stand in the way of what others expect of us!
At the end of the day, life is an adventure that will end only when we stop breathing!”
