Yesterday appeared in a single line on a forgotten Facebook post: “Dear God, I place this day in Your hands; please take care of everything.”
I tried to remember what happened, or why I wrote it, or what I feared. But all I could think was that God must have taken care of it, because the ache is gone, the weight is gone, or perhaps He wiped the memory clean so I could walk forward unburdened.
