Handle with care…

I received a call yesterday, a call that took me back in time.
The person on the other side of the phone was sharing their story, and all I could say to myself was, I know what is coming next, a déjà vu!

When we think our story is unique, I repeated it times and times again, and repeating it now, speak up, seek the help of others, and you are not alone!

The difference between people is their reaction at the moment of the downfall, but I tell you, the feelings are the same… & the difference between us is I have been tormented alone and had no one to discuss it with, while in their case, they had me and other people to speak to.

My advice was what I did back then… right or wrong, it felt right, but I still think about that event over two decades until this day and still feel wrong; I feel angry, betrayed, and hurt.

The moral of the story and the note to me, to Alexandra, to you…
Those who can hurt others are identical in behavior and viciousness; what matters is your action and how you decide to handle yourself.

Do I want them to change me…
Do I want them to dictate my actions…
Do I want them to steer my life…
Do I want independence…

The moral is the promise not to filter the past into my present and future.

When you are happy, they wonder why!
When you are aching, they don’t feel your pain!
When you cry, they might hand you a tissue!
When you are lost, they avoid getting lost with you!
Not to worry, they are your friends & Friends are indispensable!


I always say, pick yourself up quickly, people have their own problems; careful how much to unload on others; and beware of becoming the black aura floating around…


No matter how much they care, you must pick yourself up, alone, because your success comes through you!
#MOI, as for friendship, not everyone understands friendship… I break it to FRY-END-SHIP before I connect it!

The day fear fades away is when you take the first step and put two feet down an unknown path.
Scary, you might tell yourself, because all the questions are answered with the I do not know, but the truth is, this is when the new day starts & when you do not have enough time to think about fear!

That kind of courage is partly known as insanity; who puts the rules, & kindly, do not judge if you do not have the given.

The ship that takes us on a one-way trip is a blessing; it is the ship of freedom…
& when we are blessed with such a ship, we should not let the past hold us back!

Deep down, I was looking for an adventure that made me feel loved and wanted; I was aching to be seen, noticed, and heard…
I was invisible to those I belonged…
I was neglected, and I was demeaned…
I was belittled, and I was made fun of…
So I created another life; I lived a parallel life…
& now… I do not have any.
Where am I?
I do not belong there, and when I look around, I do not find a parallel life!
Was I dreaming, not alive; is there still time to make another life?

I think it is time to start walking, dreaming, and living the life I want for myself!

I believe that what matters in life is our reaction to incidents; and how many tears we allow to drop and hold us back…

I believe we dread the new waves due to the depth of the wound and depending on those who caused it, be it physical or emotional. This is when we start lacking self-confidence and questioning our actions…

I believe this is the perfect time to look closely into our life, & into our mirror, whether with open or closed eyes, and say…
Even if we fear the truth and the facts, even if we are disappointed with ourselves and our actions, the most important thing is to realize that if we do not give ourselves a chance, and a second chance, who will!
Always remember that we are the most crucial person in our life!
