“One of the beautiful phases in my life… I had gained 35 kilos, I was wobbling like a duck, I used to eat with great appetite wishing no one would be hungry, my cheeks became the size of my behind, my slim fingers looked like hotdogs, my narrow feet were only fitting in my husband’s sports shoes, & my hair was everywhere…
That was on the outside. On the inside, heartburn, excessive bladder pressure, physical discomfort, you name it…
Although I never slept a full night, since then, although the concern about that phase never left me, since then, yet, it truly was the beginning of the most beautiful phase of my life.
Did you guess what was that phase? Pregnancy!
Do you know why I woke up discussing pregnancy? Well, It is Mother’s day in Lebanon on March 21st, and I always think about my life as a mother, but never, the phase that made me one.

I guess you all know by now my mother and child story told in my biography, Where is My Angel?. I invite you to visit the book link, read the first two paragraphs, and you will certainly understand my concerns, yet, I guess this is where my motherhood instinct and strength came from, I was eagerly ready to live that experience and become one.

Going back in time, to my first pregnancy, I recall this day, now as I am talking to you all, a day I chose not to block from my memory, it was beautiful, I was living in the states, and I told myself, Happy Mommy-to-be day!”
