“Blind date #2… the Bridget Jones under 🙂
Those who watched the movie, they will understand. Yesterday was blind date #2. Kind of a month plus after Blind Date #1.

Was it weird? very emotional, I tried to bail out for a week, but he was smart enough not to let me.

I decided to go. I changed his plan many times, by changing the location, the time, but he was calm enough to know how to handle me.
His attitude released the butterflies, I told him no pics, he followed through and never sent Good Morning and Good Night ones; he went with the flow, he was not pushy, his contact style was smooth, sweet, he was actually very soft, but the preparation for the outing was weird!

I wanted to watch the sunset, but the sun dropped earlier.
He wanted to go for a drink by the beach, I feared the long drive.
I said we go coffee, he agreed, although the timing was happy hour time.
He wanted to go for dinner after, I said we will decide.
But, again, what about the preparation for the outing?

Well, I am a woman, after all, a woman with all the curves needed. I ought to work very hard to hide what I had.
Shockingly, I did perfume myself, smooth my skin, put on some mascara, eyeliner, sticky lipstick, long dress, but when I closed my eyes, thinking about the impact, I started feeling anxious and couldn’t withdraw anymore, I had to do one thing and the only thing that would make me feel safe…
I threw a Bridget Jones undergarment on me!
I know that this would help me think twice before embarking on the fantasy journey, not because I don’t want it, but simply because, this would mean, to me, to be continued!

How was it? you are asking, I had a good happy coffee hour.
I explained that chances are, I will run away.
I informed him that I have insecurities when it comes to trusting people sitting across the table in his shoes.
I unfolded the reality where I block people.
I felt good, trying to hurt his mankind… but guess what?

He laughed softly, and said, “YOU MAY NOT”.
I asked to go home, I limited the trip to one happy coffee hour… He drove me home, I enjoyed feeling like a teenager again… Guess what? He caressed my hand softly!”
#MOI Where no one ever touched me… my soul!
This does remind me of similar scenes in both of my books. Ladies, and gents, get to read them, & enjoy love!
