I received a call yesterday, a call that took me back in time.
The person on the other side of the phone was sharing their story, and all I could say to myself was, I know what is coming next, a déjà vu!

When we think our story is unique, I repeated it times and times again, and repeating it now, speak up, seek the help of others, and you are not alone!

The difference between people is their reaction at the moment of the downfall, but I tell you, the feelings are the same… & the difference between us is I have been tormented alone and had no one to discuss it with, while in their case, they had me and other people to speak to.

My advice was what I did back then… right or wrong, it felt right, but I still think about that event over two decades until this day and still feel wrong; I feel angry, betrayed, and hurt.

The moral of the story and the note to me, to Alexandra, to you…
Those who can hurt others are identical in behavior and viciousness; what matters is your action and how you decide to handle yourself.

Do I want them to change me…
Do I want them to dictate my actions…
Do I want them to steer my life…
Do I want independence…

The moral is the promise not to filter the past into my present and future.

Is she real? They asked… Is Alexandra real?
I opened my mouth, and here it was; what does being real mean!
Do you know who you are?
Are you true to yourself?
Do you accept who you are?
Do you allow others to see the true you?
Do you accept your mistakes and flows?
Do you work on yourself to reach your own standards?
Do you say this is me?
Do you share with the world the true you?
So many DO YOU…
I looked at them, waiting for them to answer, and to my surprise, they were looking at me, with my mouth open, wordless… & all I said, read the book, and tell me what does being real means, and what it means to you!
Alexandra spoke to her parents, tried her best, and made herself… & now, being the author of the book, the woman that lived many moments, I ask you and invite you to check the book/s, the characters, & their lives, where I share my experience through writing, be real behind the words, and tell you if you get a chance to read my books, remember:

She was their little girl, but…

She was her daddy’s little girl…
He wanted all the happiness for her; he promised to protect her; he promised her the world…
Things changed; time changed; the unexpected happened…
He had to travel; the promise faded away…
She got worried; daddy is no longer around, but…

He knew he may not be around until eternity, so he raised an empowered woman for life!

What if sometimes daddy is a mommy, could that be the case in my biography? check chapter 10.

I protected them from human pain like a mother gorilla. I raised men in women figures. I convinced them that their destiny is in their hands, I told them to live their life openly and not to be ashamed of any actions they may decide to take or make; I told them they will not marry till they have a degree, till they became financially independent and succeed; I told them to guide their life with passion and not love; and I told them that they can reach any goal they put their mind into and mainly that I was there for them regardless of what mistakes they make, because mistakes are just the stepping stones to success; and I told them to spread their wings wide open and fly as high as they can reach.

#MOI & the Moral of the story: Show them trust, and raise empowered women for life!
