She thought she had lost everything. But then she remembered what she had could not be lost…

She went through a journey to the past, dug into the treasure box where she had her diary hidden, she went through the scribbles, the pages, and the notes, and to her surprise, she remembered…

A woman’s strength is built in deep down the roots that made her; she needed those tears to float on, and she needed those fears to overcome reality and remind herself of the most important statement in her life: “Fate came with her birth, but Destiny was in her own hands”

“After love…
I woke up the next morning, with a ring on my finger…
The rock under the stars…
The stairs we sat on…
The comeback that wrecked me…
The day I said who cares…
He used the fireplace to dry my clothes…
He covered my ears with his hands…
The wine bottle…
The ending… or rather a new beginning.

Between my biography and Ale’s life (Alexandra) there was zillion moments of love, passion, and lust.
What came after love, well, the fear of that question held us back many times, but ignoring that question made us embark on that journey.

Will there be tears? yes, of joy and happiness.
Will there be downfalls? yes, of disappointment and then, to prove existence.
Will there be regrets? yes, if you are stuck, and no, if you use the past as stepping stones for next.
Will there be next? yes, yes, and yes, give yourself the right to love, a chance to experience the next love.
So what’s after love? next love and always love!

As a woman who experienced all of the above, I tell you, it was worth it!”

Can you feel my happiness…

“Can you feel my happiness… yes, happy, and want to share it with the world.
To begin with, I, Badiaa, the woman, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, at my age, I still believe in Santa Clause, in other words, in miracles; I believe in Karma; I believe in letting go; I believe in focusing on the good in people; I believe in second chances; I believe in many things, but this is not why I am happy….

This is why I can be happy, I do not hold grudges, I do not waste my time on the dark side, and the grey fogs in between sunrises; but again, this is not why I am happy…

I am happy because at the end of this coming week, I will be holding someone precious to my heart, someone that had to be distant from me due to the economical and COVID-19 situations, and I miss so much.

I am happy, because I survived those 9 months away from her, and the funny part, those 9 months remind me of the time I was waiting for her to be born… they were not easy as well!
So here is what I tell myself, I am blessed with a personality where I allow myself to be happy… Thank you, God, for this gift!”
