“Hello Summer… Whether willingly or due to the world circumstantial COVID 19 crisis, our life has changed, and our summer days have extended. Many among us are no longer in the job, many among us are no longer in the same job conditions, many among us are living with concern about their jobs, and many among us are still fine!
Well, define FINE, the word we use constantly. Let me tell you how fine I currently am. We live in a corrupt country, in a country where people take advantage of situations to backstab others, in a country where the bread price is increasing because they cannot contain and protect the prices of the basic life needs, in a country where we don’t know whether we will have fuel tomorrow to run our cars and generate electricity, in a country that is so beautiful but I think people breastfed corrupted milk, therefore, they became naturally corrupt.
This is the sad truth about our beloved Lebanon, the land of Saints, History, beaches, nightlife, day road trips, food and cuisine, religious sites, culture, archeology, adventures, architecture, and much more… Whatever you hear is an understatement.
So, Hello Summer, the season I love, Hello days of sun, and beach, and long nights… except, now, the long nights are the concern about Tomorrow in Tomorrowland!”
