There are two sides to every conversation and communication where words are just one of the components & skills.

Imagine the effect of your body language when you are acting and reacting; hear your words, tone of your voice, and take into consideration how they are perceived before you go on.

It’s called think, breathe, & then speak. Can you imagine a world where everyone does that!

Perfection and flaws…

“Don’t look for visible perfection but find the hidden flaws. A statement that clearly roots any relationship.

At the child level, teach your child that a friend who speaks up and fights with you and for you is a friend worth the investment. Check Mommy, I Am a PACER, and follow grandpa’s steps with Abigail to help her restore her friendships.

At an adult level, we assume that visible perfection in friends is what we want, then we get disappointed. It is the misinterpretation of situations then we get hurt. I wonder whether Alexandra in 
Life’s Detours – Alexandra’s Choices describes this situation best with Robert or the other characters, but then again, as I always say it’s a life, not a book!

At the relationship level, we fall for visible perfection until we are choked with hidden flaws; we fall for the perfect vision we have built of a relationship until we trip on flaws that shake us…
Are all flaws fixable?
Are all flaws adjustable?
Are all flaws acceptable?
Well, it depends. Yes, I put full-stop punctuation. What matters is to find what is important to you and you can compromise, and what limits those flaws cannot cross, then you decide. I did in Where is My Angel?.

Every book has a story, a woman, a man, and a child; they were deceived, choked, and made it living their own way, as we all do!

Life is full of surprises, what matters is how we perceive them and keep on going irrelevant to the other’s perceptions and judgment!

Chances in life are a blessing. They come to us when least expected to keep us motivated and give us hope toward continuity.
Chances are signs; I see them as a wake-up call from above reminding us of our choices. We cannot let go of ourselves and accept what we are going through without trying to change.
The change relates to ourselves, and our situation; it is a package. But what if that one chance we wanted, started yesterday, would you try grabbing it, holding on to the last threads that you can catch?

Yesterday is a phase, we need to see time as a continuous cycle, not a gone stage. Never assume the end until decided by you!”

“Are they called mistakes or life-turning events?
If I am not talking about myself in my biography “WHERE IS MY ANGEL?“, I will be talking about Alexandra in
LIFE’S DETOURS, ALEXANDRA’S CHOICES.

I was a flying soul and all flying souls wander. I never rested, until I was chained to my daughters, but once they became independent, nothing held me back. The book reflects my strength, the story of a baby girl looking for her angel at birth, the angel that promised her a beautiful life. Who and where was the angel? did she ever find her angel?
As for Alexandra, she was a dreamer, a small-town girl that saw her life and that of her family from a different perspective. She dreamed and wanted more. Events in her current made her future.
Had it tears, love, deceptions… well, it had all, and then it had love, success, and happiness…
It had a fairytale, simply because I, the author, believe in happy endings.

”How far will you go for peace… a question I always ask myself.
Q. Does it take more than one person to set peace?
A. One person can initiate a peaceful reaction to start or break an argument.

Q. Does it involve ego?
A. Ego can stand between a person and peace with oneself and others. It is important to value yourself as a person for you, and use that value to contribute to social development.

Q. Will being the pacer in the race for peace be understood as weakness?
A. People’s perception proves the need for pacers to change the equation of peace/war. Are you willing to be the person other’s wonder who and why you are acting as a peace facilitator?

Q. How long will it take to reach peace?
A. What matters is the process, and the change along the line. It is better than focusing on conflicts. It simply reminds people that there is another way to reach a goal.

Q. Do you believe not taking action when witnessing unfairness is the right thing to do? or you believe getting involved might complicate the situation?
A. There is no room for bystanders in the world.
Getting involved can save a situation, and protect the entities involved from excessive abuse and pain.
Knowing how to is the secret to a successful resolution.
Have the courage to stand by what is right.

Q. Are you willing to apologize?
Q. Are you wiling to admit your mistake?
Q. Are you willing to shake hands with the other party?
Q. Do you think of the outcome of your choice of words before you speak?
Q. When did you last rephrase your idea before speaking?
Q. Are you a bystander?
Q. Do you have the courage to get involved if it was not your conflict?
Q. Do you think you are better than others?
Q. Does peace start at home?

Q. Do you want to see peace?
Q. How can you help with the process?

Summary:
* It takes one person to change the outcome of a situation.
* It takes one person to encourage others to start.
* You are that person.
