“Do we all need a break? Well, truth be said, I feel I need a break from the long paused life, the break, of what we I call, being alive!
I don’t think we can jump from the confinement, the virus, and it’s variants, back to our routine life without a break or intervention discussing what happened.
To be honest, I believe every home saw the traumatic side of the virus & lost someone dear to them; our mental health was scratched, we are shattered, we are tired, and no, it cannot be cured with a band aid or a tap on the shoulder.
During the past few years, and still ongoing, we learned more about each other, in view of the confinement, we realized whether we can or not live with the person we are with; & additionally, we learned about ourselves, about how precious our life is, and mainly we learned to appreciate what we have, our strength, and who we are!”
#MOI All I am saying, you may decide to ignore my value, but I know my value & the person I am!

“Never look back, I said, because what is worth knowing is ahead!
I always question whether one day the past will apologise…
I always question whether I want the past to apologise?
I always question whether one day the true story will reveal…
I always question whether one day the true story will reveal?
Guess what, I will not look back, I disconnected from the past…
Yesterday derived from yester, a term meaning former, earlier, or previous times…
Times, is what I fear… very virtual, & the only tactile about it, are the wrinkles on my face!
So don’t waste time looking back at yesterday, what is worth knowing is ahead, and will definitely pop up uninvited!”

“& What did we learn… the days roll, yesterday never comes back, but new opportunities always come our way!
Another day in the diary of my love life!
I went to the beach yesterday, I was sitting there, dreaming, peacefully, enjoying the serenity of the ocean, listening to wave, and then was brought to reality by footsteps behind me…
Do I know you, he said?
I have seen you, I have a great visual memory, but do not recall your name, I said.
I am looking for a chair, he said, looking at the empty chair near me.
Feel free to join, I replied, while giving him the chair.
We sat, laughed, he wondered why a beautiful lady like me is not involved in a relationship.
I answered, all women are beautiful, one may not be your style, but sure is someone else’s and then, I added, same applies to men.
He said, and what do you think?
I don’t see the physical part anymore, never did anyway, and too early to get such answer, but you are already seated near me, I said with a smile.
He insisted on knowing why, he was divorced as well, he was funny but depressed, cute but lost…
He feels time is passing, and still there are things on his bucket list, he regrets not having cheated on his wife, he is disturbed by the economical crisis, and a lot more…
Actually, I tried to cheer him up, I feel it is my duty in life, then he got a call while thinking and explaining that he needed someone like me in his life, & how time and circumstances were not the best yesterday…
I stood and said I had commitment, he looked at me and said, are we done, I answered, as you said, your prayers to meet a nice lady got us here today, so if it’s meant to be, our paths shall cross again!
I did enjoy the coincidence, non-planned events boosts our energy and reminds us that we exist…
#MOI I restated one important point yesterday, I AM NOT INVISIBLE!

It is sad that, still, in the 21st century, we are living the power of the strongest…
It is sad that, still, in the 3rd millennium, we are living the term war…
My heart is aching aching, Ukraine…
My heart is aching aching for every other country in such situation…
My heart is aching for every person living in such distress…
My heart is aching for every child sleeping in fear…
My heart is aching, because I lived it in Beirut civil war, and every other war I survived herein…
My heart is aching, because wars are not only with bombs…
My heart is aching, because sometimes, in our daily life, we act as the strongest, and overpower others…
My heart is aching, why can’t we see the beauty of this world and share it together…
My heart is aching, why can’t we live side by side, and accept each other…
My heart is aching, why can’t we live in peace!”

“Yes, there are tears, but laugh all you can!
The life I lived is no different than yours…
I got hit emotionally, financially, and personally…
There was a time where I felt helpless,
there was a time where I felt invisible,
there was a time where I felt voiceless…
but guess what, I never allowed those feelings to invade my career.
I made sure I kept control, and isolated my pain.
The pain isolated kept going deeper, but I kept standing in the corporate world…
The tears I shed became invisible behind my fake smile…
I stood, I hid my personal life, I managed to have two personalities, one controlled in public, & another smashed when alone!
My heart aches when thinking about those times, the moments I lost on people not worth my love…
But today, my heart laughs aloud, simply because every one of those people lost my presence in their life, the love I offered them, and the support I gave!”
#MOI You made me waste beautiful years being there, but now you lost… I am one of a kind!
Taking pride in standing again, walking tall, finding myself, and finding happiness!

I do not want to spoil it for you, but I slapped love on the face until it slapped me back, saying, never stop believing in the magic of true love!
& what is love after all, does it come before or after getting to know each other?
