But do I want to know the truth?- Chapter 15 How many times in life do we prefer not to ask? Not because we fear the answer; but because we know the answer in advance. So we either fear hearing it or fear having it denied to us! The truth can break or connect us; it will release our anxiety, whether told or lied to us. Unfortunately, many cannot commit to telling the truth; the worst part is when they live to believe their lie. Reading Life’s Detours, Alexandra’s Choices will take you on Ale’s journey and those in her life. Ale was deceived; deception leads to loss of trust, & loss of trust leads to hesitating commitment. Were you ever deceived?

“When you decide to give tomorrow another chance, you end up running out of chances, and tomorrow never comes… Start today; consider yesterday the day to give a new beginning to an end; live the now; don’t expect chances to come again…”
#MOI Begin with a Yes, accept the now, and start your tomorrow!
“No one can take away your dream… The path might be intercepted; the road might be rough; the vision might get blurry, but no one should take away your dream!”
It takes two to create a conflict; it takes one to facilitate peace.
School time is crucial; this is where we build and start what should be a given routine. Unfortunately, although many expect kindness to be natural, respect to be a must, and humanity to be part of our daily life, we get shocked at the back-to-school time with some children here to mark their territories.
What happened during the summer? Where are all the ethics, skills, and good manners we worked on and helped children develop and understand? Where are the empathy, love, and humility we discussed and praised in action the year before? Sadly, many dropped their wings in the summer and thought that traits, characters, and rights were seasonal.
Back to ground zero, instructors! Bullying is back, and as an eight-year-old child told me yesterday, THEY ARE MEAN, & I DON’T KNOW WHY!
Dear parents, fellows in education, and in parenthood, children learn by example; we do not take breaks from being kind, humane, loving, or understanding.
As I said in the beginning, It takes two to create a conflict; it takes one to facilitate peace.

The bridge of happiness was never built on concrete. We must dare to be happy… We must follow what makes us happy… We must be strong and remember we deserve happiness…
