“I woke up early, sat in bed, thinking about life, my life, and more.
To be honest it was a difficult morning!

Then I opened my laptop, and the first thing I saw was a personal message from a person that read my book “LIFE’S DETOURS: ALEXANDRA’S CHOICES” that said, sometimes it takes one event to change our perspective in life; thank you dear author Badiaa Hiresh for this motivational kickstart at the beginning of a new year. At that moment, I told myself mission accomplished!
Yes, & no, it is just the beginning.
Sometimes in life, we focus on the wrong thing, idea, negative vibes, or people, which take us down the drain; not our fault, we get stuck, and shy away from saying no. My books saved me, they taught me to speak up, and then, they were my message to those I cannot reach in person.
I once needed that motivation, presented in my books, so I wrote it for you because I found it within me!

Keep faith in your heart and make your life worth it; keep faith in your heart and happiness in your spirit…
May the midnight clock bring a new sunrise to you all…
Sunrise with a refreshing start for those already in love & for those who need it;
Thankfulness for those who cannot find gratefulness;
Happiness for those who cannot reach deep in their soul;
Crazy moments with exceptional memories;
Miracles for skeptic people;
Love to those doubting its existence…
& Lastly, drink bottoms up and dare to say I want to love myself in 2023 as I deserve to be loved…

To the future, to a better 2023 you all!”

“If you ask me, I say what a blessing!
I was walking this morning by the beach, wearing my swimming suit and enjoying the sun…
I looked around me, the ocean was so serene, the water was clear, and the air was almost still; suddenly I felt a breeze interrupting my zone, It felt good, it was like a reassuring shadow walking with me.
I knew it was my angel, she was helping me with the steps and pushing me to continue. I told her okay…
I walked two miles, I danced, I smiled, and replied, yes, I know, we need to take care of our health, the body will annihilate while the soul shall live forever!”

Restoring feelings depends on the depth of the wounds… in simple terms:
CAN BROKEN HEARTS BE MENDED?
A statement only those wounded will understand!

Going back to last night’s attempts, my intentions were not to comment, but since every time wine was involved, the scenarios & sceneries change … therefore, I preferred to say #Cheers
Sometimes it’s a glass for two, other times it’s a table for two!
Bottom line, adventurous main characters & it looks like good quality wine!

I ask again, CAN BROKEN HEARTS BE MENDED? CAN TRUST BE RESTORED?”

“I received a message in a bottle today… what did it say?

I woke up to see a bottle by the dresser, full of dust, must be very old;
I washed it carefully, fearing of ruining the outside in case it had any glitter;
No, it was smooth, plain glass, simply it was smoked glass;
As I turned it, upside down to dry, I heart something inside moving;
I looked, it was a piece of paper… my first reaction was, what don’t they use the garbage bin?
Anyway, the paper looked neat and rolled, so I pulled it out;
I read what was written, and was disappointed.

Date: 15 years earlier on my birthday
Message: Mom, go out more like all the other mommies, we love you!
Signature: Your daughters

I cried…
I cried for missing the bottle;
I cried for I missed reading my daughters’ message, although they said it many times;
I cried for neglecting myself, and knowing they noticed it, not a good example;
I cried for…

Well, you can still sit and cry the days you missed, but, as well, you can start enjoying the days ahead!
HOW MANY OF YOU ARE MISSING MESSAGES IN A BOTTLE AROUND THEM, DON’T JUST STEP OVER THEM AND WALK AWAY….

“Being an asset… better late than never!

The truth about me…
Life taught me to see myself in the eyes of others, in the words they don’t say, and in the looks that say much more.

I know who I am, I know my potential, I am a woman when need is and can produce any task produced by a man or a woman when needed;
I know what I can achieve, I know that nothing stood or shall ever stand in my way ever; &
I remember the days where “they” tried to put me down, hold me back, push me away, set limits, scare me, intimidate me… I will and shall never forget, simply because those days were my stepping stones to a higher level, to a level where “they” could not reach me anymore.

I remember that day, the day I stood there, looked at “them” in the eye, and said… “You” are done, “You” shall regret this moment and this day, make sure “you” remember it… “You” just taught me to see myself in your eyes, and now I know what you are fearing!”
#MOI, the day I stood alone in the middle of the crowd, and saw myself stronger than all!

Today is not about #MOI or my books; Today is about a rising author, Welcome to my page Victor Villarreal Torres

I am an internationally published author, an active blogger, and a social media advocate. My followers are real, and I believe in working together via different means to provide and see change taking place with fellow authors.
During the confinement, I launched my I channel on YouTube, where I conducted live interviews with over 60 guests to entertain my audience but mainly to promote online businesses and raise continuous awareness about different topics; & here is where the idea of promoting authors came from.
Therefore I invited authors to join me, with simple interviews to introduce them to the world, and help them get their voice heard, in the hoping that one of the clicks will be the magic button to their success!

About the Author Victor Villarreal is husband and father of a two year old boy. He is an English Academic Coordinator from Monterrey, Mexico. He has been a teacher for nine years and the author of Mexican Tales Vol. 1. You can follow his social media pages, all of them under the same name: Mexican Tales. 

Book Synopsis (Mexican Tales has fifteen short stories from prehispanic Mexico, the stories are from different indigenous communities adapted to all ages. The last story is a brand new one with a character that will change history and save Mexico.)

In this book I am pleased to share with you some cool short stories about the culture of my country. I will also tell you in one of them how things could have changed in history with the help from our gods. It is full of exciting stories, some fantasy and even love.
