Continuity…

Eventually, things will change, & hope you would like the new YOU.
Let me tell you a short story, I was discussing that point with a friend of mine the other day…
She was feeling anxious and sinking in her own life, that by the way did not change.

The people in our life are still the same, the people in our home are still the same, and the days rolling are still the same, but… the circumstances, the fear from the unknown, and the foggy tomorrow are not the same; additionally, we are not the same!


We are living the uncertain, and that changes people, it makes us sink and bounce, it makes us cry and laugh, and it makes us fear happiness!


We worry about our loved ones, we worry about their future, and we worry about our sanity!


Are we still the same… No, we are changing, we are no longer the person we were at the beginning of the journey.
& that is the continuity… the survival skills, the care for others’ pressure, and the care for self-concern, that is the change we have become!
Despite my will, my journey made of me a new person. Today, I pause to applaud myself, not for the moments that made me tear, but for the will I have to keep on going when surrounded by silence and no one.

Sometimes we walk for fun, sometimes we walk to exercise, and sometimes we walk to meditate…

That specific walk, that day, it made me realize the spelling importance in a sentence; and it comes after the word change.

So change without a full stop to the past won’t happen.

Every day I live is a story worth telling.

I go through moments, I go through waves, & I go through emotions, some are worth mentioning, some I frame in my mind, & others should honestly be buried since there is no way to erase them.

This is called life. Before you complain about what you didn’t attain, look closely, evaluate, and stand tall. Guess what, every one of us has a story worth telling, but if you don’t value what you have, don’t expect the world to celebrate you!

The Breath that is the Difference, and the Moment Where Everything Changes…
It’s about Life and Eternity!

Things will change, and life will no longer be the same.
We start realizing how important people are in our lives.
We try calling, sending messages, checking their last seen, and hoping for an answer.
Phase 1, it is.

We yell at them for leaving us behind, we call, but they don’t answer.
Phase 2, it is.

We fear they are upset with us being angry and mad at them, so we start talking to them, asking for a sign that they heard us.
And guess what, they answer, and we hear them!
Phase 3, it is.

We dig their pictures and try to keep their voice alive.
Phase 4, it is.

We fear time will fade away memories, so we start being angry with ourselves.
Phase 5, it is.

We live, or rather survive their absence.
We wipe our tears every morning.
We feel guilty for a past we did not spend together and for embracing future moments.
Phase 6, it is.

The Circle of Life, we will never forget…
Phase 7, it is.

Laughs, joy, tears, and sorrow.
I am here, there, and everywhere.
Ash to ash & life to eternity.
Truth is, we will always miss those who depart.
Time will ease, but not heal.
Tears will shed, hearts will ache, and life will happen anyway!

In loving memory of those we lost, let’s embrace those we still have around!
