Chapter 5 of my biography WHERE IS MY ANGEL?
Did I live the love days of my life? I don’t know.
Did I go too far? Yes, I did.
Did I hurt anyone? Never.
We met in the elevator. He was…

It was about love because, to me, love revives a dead soul, also mentioned in my biography.
I always vote for love; all kinds of love. I believe love can change the way people act.
I did find love many times. I lived passionate moments. Many, if not all, ended with tears.
Would I embark on the same journey again? Well, it’s worth it.
Falling in love makes me float.
We cannot fall in love with calculations.
Simply, we can fall in love!”

“So, I didn’t succeed in the relationship.
I failed to keep it together forever;
I failed to keep us under the same roof;
I failed to keep us happy as promised;
& I failed to remain together.

Yet, I do not see it as a failure!
I believe that, at times, we get involved in the wrong relationship; failing to step out is the non-successful part.
I believe success resides in a healthy and decent separation, whichever way the couple chooses the breakup to be; we cannot control yesterday’s actions, but we sure have a say in tomorrow’s!”

“Bottom line, when we reach the bottom, nothing is left for us to lose… & then we start all over again.
It takes a while to want to live again, to want to have a life again.
We think the past might repeat itself, and we forget there are beautiful people out there. We believe we did not deserve what happened; we wonder why it happened. Why did this happen to me?

Things happen; we choose to let things be; it is complex; we have questions; we are upset; we get lost as a reaction.
We get upset with God for letting this happen.
I answer: God gives us strength to survive ordeals and incidents in our life; that is HIS role.
& then, one day, we wake up to realize and appreciate the tiniest events in our lives and decide to reach out to new endeavors.”

“I always use a scale…
I use it with my friends when we discuss partners and conflicts. I ask them to add the qualities and characteristics of their partner on the scale plates, as in what works and what does not, and then estimate how much we can fix, accept, or discuss.

How about forgetting and forgiving?
Do you believe when someone says I forgive you?
Do you believe a word can erase an action?
Can you forgive?

Let me answer first, and then give you time to think about it and share your opinion if you wish!

I always tell people; I am only human; I am not God, nor am I a saint to forgive.
I let go because I want to move on with my life, not because I forgive.
I forget, probably due to age. Additionally, human memory can carry a specific number of items,
& to me, replacing poisonous thoughts and memories with happy ones is healthy.

The sad part is that forgetting does not heal the person until they face their pain and those that caused it.
Years of therapy will emerge dormant and painful events that we selected to bury; when similar ones arise, the past pops up, reopening painful memories whether we learned how to deal with pain through therapy or isolated those events.

In summary, dear friend, balance the scale and watch your actions and words; we cannot reset time!”

There is no right or wrong when it comes to your dream. You deserve to live happily, and you deserve peace of mind. You deserve sanity.

If not offered to you on a golden plate; snitch it; you owe it to yourself. It is your right, and it is not a dream.
Do not mix up dreams with goals; do not mix up goals with rights. You were born to live your life; live it the way you deserve!”
