The most difficult stages in one’s journey are the events that hold us back.
Who are we kidding, whether men or women, when deceived in love, it will interfere with continuity.
It shuts a door that cannot reopen easily;
it interferes with every new love;
it changes the way we see and accept love in the future.

When hurt, we bleed, scar, cry, become physically ill, change food habits, we change.
When hurt, we have to talk about that pain, to the person that hurt us and to someone that can help us.
When hurt, we have to remember that we got hurt because that person had issues, we are not at fault.
When hurt, we must be strong and remember we deserve happiness, justice, and success. (As I said in the synopsis of Life’s Detours: Alexandra’s Choices.
Can broken hearts be mended? It’s the leading question about that novel and the question I ask every day in my life. So despite the reality, the depth of the scar, the disappointment, and the pain, I tell you…”

“After love…
I woke up the next morning, with a ring on my finger…
The rock under the stars…
The stairs we sat on…
The comeback that wrecked me…
The day I said who cares…
He used the fireplace to dry my clothes…
He covered my ears with his hands…
The wine bottle…
The ending… or rather a new beginning.

Between my biography and Ale’s life (Alexandra) there was zillion moments of love, passion, and lust.
What came after love, well, the fear of that question held us back many times, but ignoring that question made us embark on that journey.

Will there be tears? yes, of joy and happiness.
Will there be downfalls? yes, of disappointment and then, to prove existence.
Will there be regrets? yes, if you are stuck, and no, if you use the past as stepping stones for next.
Will there be next? yes, yes, and yes, give yourself the right to love, a chance to experience the next love.
So what’s after love? next love and always love!

As a woman who experienced all of the above, I tell you, it was worth it!”

“When relationships become a comfort zone…
I would like to be rational & say when people/friends/best friends hurt us, it is unintentional, and they have their own problems… But how could we ignore the pain they caused us!

You ask yourself many questions:

Should I take it personally?
How recurrent is the event?
Is it time to react?
How should I respond?
It is worth it to speak up?
When should I discuss it?
Is this person growing a new personality?

& should I react? is the last question.
#MOI thinking of relationships, I believe the more people feel comfortable, the more they allow themselves to cross boundaries.
Depending on how close one is, sometimes space is needed to evaluate the pain caused by others and decide when, if, & how should one react.
