Last #week of 2023… Do something worth remembering!
Folding the page of the 2023 journey, I spent the day with loved ones, remembering the good times & making new memories.
2023 was not the best but I cannot deny beautiful moments worth carrying forward.

I CANNOT FIND CHRISTMAS! Dec 22, 2023 On a scavenger hunt to find Christmas… “I went to Downtown Cville trying to find the hiding elves telling myself who could know Christmas better than the elves? Elf #4 was hard to find but I did not lose hope… & finally, when I did find that elf on a Pizza shelf, the elf whispered, that is one short message, determination… Keep looking and never lack faith; Christmas is a spirit”

Born to be happy; born to succeed… I guess the beginning is meant to be crooked; I got used to it.
Why PART II? This year, I wrapped up a phase of my life to start another marked with the loss of my mentor, in a different country, and plan-less… Carrying forward from the past a suitcase and lots of memories; some painful, some fading away… but all of which helped shape the person I am today.
My life is restarting as if it is in take-off mode; when I envisioned the birth day, I said, Hey, Mommy, are you there? …that was the answer! Silence was the answer! and today, as I am standing at life detours, I say, Hey, Mentor, are you there? …that was the answer! Silence was the answer!
I like to think they are together, cutting a cake and celebrating my life… That is what the positive side of me would say! However, with tears and longing, I say, I am happy you are together but I admit I miss them dearly. Hey, can you hear me… send me a sign that you do, send me a sign that you are with me, tomorrow when I am cutting my cake!

When things fail to happen as expected, it simply means that things will happen differently… Sometimes we go with the flow, and other times we steer the flow… It is called life. Remember, I tell myself, other people are steering the same flow! Accepting our fate does not mean letting life happen; I have a say in today and tomorrow…
