BUT I DID FIND CHRISTMAS! Dec 24, 2023
On a scavenger hunt to find Christmas, I remembered the messages of the elves…
It’s about opportunities, Faith, Christmas Spirit, Love, Time, and the beautiful people we have in our lives, and the memories we made together…

One thing the elves missed mentioning is that distance is temporary…
I close my eyes and remember the good times I was blessed to have lived once with those I lost, and those celebrating elsewhere; 2023 was not my best year but it sure will become the start of a new era…

“I went to Downtown Cville trying to find the hiding elves telling myself who could know Christmas better than the elves?
Elf #4 was hard to find but I did not lose hope… & finally, when I did find that elf on a Pizza shelf, the elf whispered, that is one short message, determination…
Keep looking and never lack faith; Christmas is a spirit”

Do you still put cookies and milk for Santa under the tree?
Well, I do, and I know he passes by.
That is what the Christmas spirit is all about! Correct? It is about faith!

“Every holiday, I understand the word family more!
My parents taught me, that family is…

What a word, we live by, the rituals, the culture, the traditions, and mainly the years we spend investing in such word, called family!

My parents taught me, she said, family comes first, it’s all about the family!
Define family, I said, and yes, truly what I believe in…
But what is a family, I said. Well. it’s a group of people coming together to share the name, the household, to grow under one roof, to live together until a specific time…
But who is family, I said. Well, it’s a number of people that care, and love you, no matter what, and stand by you, no matter where!

You see, I said, family is what you are born to, but you end up, with the family that care and love you!”
#MOI to me family is a word with facts and realities.

Facts, we are born to one, we cannot change it…
Reality, we belong to each other, because we end up making our own family!
