Lend a smile, Lend a hand of support, & Lend togetherness… Let us not leave anyone behind, or alone!
The International Day of Happiness was established in 2013 by the United Nations to emphasize the importance of happiness on a global scale. What can you do today? The theme speaks for itself. Consider yourself the epicenter of all the beauty in nature and be the focal point of life and happiness. Take care of yourself; be mindful of your inner self and surroundings. If things are holding you back, find a way to detach emotionally. If you feel like you can’t survive rootless, remember the life cycle of butterflies. Be present in the moment, appreciate the blessings, and recognize the source that sustains you. In return, spread positivity and kindness, and remember that not everyone can reach a state of mindfulness. Remind yourself: I am the beginning, the flow, the happiness of others, and eternity. Happy International Day of Happiness!
