The decision to open the past is similar to peeling an onion; tears with every layer sting the heart while memories and incidents reveal themselves…

Here is the truth about the past:
We may see things clearly, yes; but remember that our perception changed toward a pain once lived…
Yes, we may accept things and people back, but who could travel back in time to that child or adult and ask them to deny the pain…

They speak about closure, perception, and self-discovery, but they forget to mention the time spent under siege, the time spent in denial protecting self, and then, what about the time required to allow the hidden parts to emerge.
