Step 365 East in the 2025 Journey: Housekeeping of a Life in Motion

Let’s do some housekeeping before we close the chapter on 2025 and carry forward the lessons tucked inside my books and through the memories of a lifetime.

Between ‘Migrate’ and ‘Emigrate’ stands an ‘E’ for my ‘East’ that lends significant meaning to the traveler’s direction and status, and what I became. While the outcome is one, unless you’ve packed decades of a life into a couple of suitcases, you cannot understand the feeling; & how many times has my life fit into a suitcase?

Life taught me its lessons in the language of tears: when to shed them, when to stop them, and when to turn them into a strength.
No tears for the dimming light of what was once called home was lesson one.
No time for tears over a home that no longer exists was lesson two.
No one to wipe my tears, so stop crying was lesson three.
No tears for a home that does not cry you back was lesson four.
And the most important lesson of all: use the tears to float over chagrin, follow the flow, carrying the lessons as stepping stones.

From these steps, I learned that family is precious to a certain extent, that home is wherever I reopen my suitcases, and that as long as one’s heart is still beating, life shall flourish again.

Step 365 East may sound harsh, but so is the journey of many. Be your own source of energy, your own resource to launch again.

Step 365 East, no resolution for 2026, but a promise to continue what I have started with the publishing of the Peace Purpose Program Booklet, and turn purpose into action; after all, as I said in my biography, ‘Fate came with her birth, but she knew that Destiny was in her own hands’.

#MOI Life taught me to look at things from different perspectives. Today’s lesson is a reminder to myself about resilience, and the times I stood again, never quit, and always stepped one step ahead of tomorrow!
