The theme for International Friendship Day 2023 is ‘Sharing the human spirit through friendship.’
To me, friendship is like a train that rails from city to city, encountering different people filling its seats;
some end up holding hands, others share a story, and some shift destinations to start a new journey.

This is life, our life, those we encounter, those we hold on to, and those who decide to stay. They are friends similar to flowers and plants; they must be cared for with the proper soil, water, care, sunlight, and space needed to survive.

Today, July 30, 2023, is the day we celebrate International Friendship and a call to revitalize our spirit and make lasting memories. Let us unleash the power of our soul and foster an inviting and warm atmosphere.

Dear God,
Make it a good day; I trust you will!

Words I repeated daily, they made me feel stronger, they empowered me…
I remember when my daughters were young, they used to jump, trusting I would be there to catch them; I always was, & that feeling was the foundation of their strength.
I have the same feeling when standing on floorless ground with locked choices… I close my eyes, I call His Almighty; I plead my concerns, & I trust…

Dear God, show me the way; make it a good day; I trust you will!

This story is about different women and what life brought their way. Some incidents and events were callused by the parents, others resulted by the community; some were the consequence of love, and others were caused by passion!!
Among them were normal incidents, abusive, misfortunate, planned, and/or random.
