“What’s in my Cup of Life today… memories & thoughts stirred, whisked, & frappé!
Yes, it’s Saturday, but when my Friday was interrupted by my ex’s announcing a trip, I did not as questions, but I knew; he had a new haircut and was going to see her.

This time, I was not jealous, no, last time I was, and I expressed my feelings; this time, I was thinking about life, and mine specifically.

Agitated Saturday morning, my emotions were like popcorn in a pot; the good thing, he pushed me to move on! I ignored myself enough while waiting for the world to heal (you know what I mean); I shall walk parallel to my fear, restoring my trust, restoring my faith, and starting at the bottom: zero expectations, just letting life happen. I cannot envy him for moving on; obviously, the damage I caused him was much less than what he did to me!

After a stirred, whisked, and frappé cup of life, I drink to the future!”

Dreams and goals are essential to the ongoing journey. We feel stressed at times when detained by obstacles standing in our way, but, let me tell you these obstacles are partially created by us.
Fear of launching, lack of knowledge, waiting for a full plan, and anxiety about success; are points that come to our mind when dreaming. Although goals are abstract when dreaming about them, executing them becomes substantial, and tangible when we start putting them into action.
Don’t tell yourself what if it does not happen; instead, tell yourself, what if I succeed?

When we say “I DO”, our life changes. We switch from SELF being the center of life, to the US being the center of life. Then, life happens, children happen, responsibilities happen, pets happen, and so on;
we start investing in the US.
One day, our investment will flourish, & we will clap!
In short, this is an enjoyable story we tell our children about life. Let me rephrase, and speak reality.
We invest in the US, and we drop the SELF; our investment will flourish, but SELF is still the support mechanism.
Where is SELF? SELF is essential to all, but SELF needs to remember that life is about what we make of ourselves. Don’t settle for what you are given, you are also given choices.
As I said in my biography, Fate came with her birth, but she knew that Destiny was in her own hands!“

Time, is one precious factor of life that we cannot reset. When Ale said in Chapter 1 of Life’s Detours: Alexandra’s Choices time was faster than my words, and what happened could never be corrected, I understood her words totally, & I felt her pain.
We all say at times, I wish we can go back in time &… The truer statement should be, what should we do about tomorrow.
Life taught me not to cry yestertime, but to cherish the next moments, as this is when we have a choice… lessons learned from the past!”
